Pleasingly Sybil has now turned up and jumped on my work table to prove she at least is a proper cat.

Capn tries that position on me, it's a cardiac event. Which I would welcome - how snuggly is that.

Ollie loves hugs. He lies on me with his front leg wrapped around me when I bear hug him. The more you squish, the more he purrs

@Papergirl1968 if he didn't have to be an indoor cat, I'd have him in a heartbeat. Keeping him in would be impossible here.

I used to cheat on MrC shamelessly by checking out the Battersea website for the neighbours and ancient parents. He loved it cos Guilt Dreamies, always the most succulent as unexpected.

Battersea are pretty fussy about the humans they deign to accept as domestic staff, but I passed after a week’s frenzied cleaning. And planting. And decorating.
