That could backfire in that they are so hungry that they wolf it down and throw it back up, Swampy. (Admittedly I'm not the best person to offer advice, given that both me and Matt are rather...ahem...rotund.)

Tbh I’m following the advice from the vet from when they refused to eat before. She said to let them get hungry then they’ll appreciate what they’re given 😂😂

Next step will be to feed them but clear the food away after a time. They aren’t grazers really they eat when it goes down.

Took a great photo of Leroy earlier. Got him to look the right way, all bright-eyed and bushy-tailed by holding a large sprig of catnip just above my phone 😁

Leroy is absolutely magnificent. I'm not at all biased by the fact that Basil and Leroy are doppelgangers .

Ollie is fuming at the weather and has come inside to boil himself in his teepee

Leroy knows that if the smoke alarm goes off your first thought is getting him out.

Gizmo is almost 10 months old, we've had him roughly 7 weeks now, he's had his jabs and we are looking to get him neutered pretty soon

He looks cute and innocent but he has the teeth and strength of a little tiger! He likes to clamp onto our arms with his paws and bite, usually when he's having a mad few minutes running round like a loon.

Hoping getting him neutered will calm him down with the biting

Oh it calms them down no end. I wanted to get dh done but he’s not up for it.

There’d be less wars if we got the men “done” after breeding.

I've been away for a week, got back yesterday. It was last minute and couldn't get a cattery so my lovely neighbour has looked after Walter for me, plus my mum has been spending some time here. He's been a softie with them both, but he's clearly glad we're home. Purring his head off and won't leave me alone.

When we 1st got Gizmo he refused to come out of the pet carrier and was in there till after I went to bed, DH said he emerged not long after and immediately ran for hiding place, we have an indoor balcony so he hid in there for the next two days, he was eating and drinking the food we left out for him but we left him alone to come to us as he was very scared.

By the 3rd day he trusted us more and was coming up to us for cuddles and now he pretty much runs the place!

The vets think he's going to be a large cat and has more growing to do, already weighs half a stone but he's all muscle really, we got him after our other Winston became ill suddenly and turned our he had advanced heart disease, from when we discovered it to him pts was 2 days so that was a shock

This was Winston, we only had him 2 years before he passed away, he was 14
