Show me your rescue cat, pleeease!

Just because I've got a day off work today and me and my gorgeous ginger rescue girl are lounging on my bed in the sunshine and I'm thinking how lucky I am to have her.
Here she is on the day she arrived in May last year.

So just feeling the love for rescues and would love to see yours

Cheddar, Magic & Maia. All from St Francis Persian rescue. Maia died in 2019.

I'm lounging on my bed with Tonks who we've had for about 18 months. Maximus is supervising DH working from home by lying over his paperwork. He's been with us for 2 and a bit years.

Before and after

Miss Micky. Not strictly a rescue cat; I got her from the previous owner who had her for 6 months (the owners before that were the mother and brother of the previous owner).
The previous owner took her because the first owners locked Miss Micky repeatedly up in a tiny carrier for weeks and also physically abused her.
When she moved in with me, she was unspayed and had bald patches due to overgrooming. She stopped the overgrooming immediately when she moved in with me and is now spayed, chipped and vaccinated. And she is an amazing, affectionate and playful cat.
The first photo was taken when she had just moved in with me and the second picture was taken some weeks ago.

I’ve not yet got a photo to show as we only brought our fur baby home yesterday and he is so nervous.

I just wanted to say how lovely it is to see the before and after photos on this thread ❤️

Our little Jack, who we adopted yesterday and only a year old has had a terrible start in life and was removed from his previous owner.

He’s in a bit of a bad way as he’s lost a lot of fur due to stress, is very underweight and extremely nervous.

Seeing these photos gives me hope that we can turn Jack around.

My new rescue cat... only 5 days in but she seems to be feeling at home!

As an aside, I wouldn't recommend getting two black cats at the same time... I can't tell which is which without a thorough investigation 😂

Our rescue Fizzy, she lives up to her reputation!

Our gorgeous 4 year old boy, rescued last year. He's settled right in and we're all happily at his beck and call. I wfh and he's my very best friend while DP and DS are out during the week.

One turned up 5 years ago and never left, he's a grumpy old git and only this year have I been able to pick him up or have him come to sit on my lap. The tabby has been with us for 8 weeks now, an ex feral so it's been a long road with him but he's doing well. We did adopt a 6 month old with him, he'd been put with him by the fosterer to help to bring him out of his shell but sadly we had to have him put to sleep due to FIP (I'm still heartbroken).

Our wee rescue girl has been with us for a few years. I wasn't much of a cat person before (DH loves them) but she has of course converted me and I love her dearly.

Boycat, Girlcat, and a pic of them together. Been with me 5 years now, ex-feral and were very shy for ages but now both are very demanding of my attention

Our Harley is 5 months.. Still under 2kg!
We got her from a local rescue as our dcat Henry was missing his dbro. Sadly pts last April.. Only 6 yo.
They made friends within 2 weeks!
