@TheLongRider
Absolutely love that picture Grin

QueenPaw · 01/03/2021 13:15

Human, I don't approve of any of this food. Fix it

Be reasonable.

He’s seen pix of your roast dinners online.

Toddlerteaplease · 01/03/2021 22:36

I've been trying to read the paper all evening. The girls have conspired against me, and have been taking it in turns to sleep on it. I swear they really are in cahoots.

Supersimkin2 · 01/03/2021 23:23

Grin one on, one having a wash, one on standby.

Guiltypleasures001 · 02/03/2021 01:52

Just found the link, settles in

nettie434 · 02/03/2021 09:12

I think Ollie has told Paws about the salmon oil and suggested he holds out for it too. When Paws insists on bits of baked potato and yogurt, then you will have definite proof they have foodie chats, QueenPaw.

TheLongRider · 02/03/2021 12:13

I made a window cushion for DD's room from ancient beanbag filling (at least 35 years old but polystyrene doesn't degrade) and the cover from an outgrown fleece onesie. At least one cat approves.

Gomez is lying in wait for me...

Lovely @ long

Papergirl1968 · 02/03/2021 21:08

Hope no one treads on Gomez, Swampy.
We had a drama today - the dog fell in the canal on a walk. We got back and told the cats all about it.
I swear they laughed. 😹

Fluffycloudland77 · 02/03/2021 21:10

How did the dog fall in the canal?.

TheLongRider · 02/03/2021 21:12

Is the dog okay? I hope it wasn't hard to get the dog out again.

Papergirl1968 · 02/03/2021 21:43

She wouldn’t cross over a bridge. I went over and kept calling her while she mooched about on the other side and then there was a splash and she looked utterly panicked but doggy paddled over to the side of the canal and managed to get out.
I then had to carry the soaking wet and heavy (she’s a Staffie cross) idiot back across the bloody bridge.
She’s fine! Grin

Papergirl1968 · 02/03/2021 21:45

She reversed out of her lead, by the way - she pulls so much her collar gets a bit loose.

nettie434 · 02/03/2021 23:46

I bet Matt and Socks (hope I have remembered names properly) are sniggering about the poor dog, papergirl1968.

Gomez needs a high vis jacket for when she is loitering on the stairs, swampy!

The window cushion looks great TheLongRider. Impressive recycling too!

Papergirl1968 · 03/03/2021 00:05

Yes, Matt and Socks, Nettie. Matt is probably wishing she’d drowned, to be honest! Wink

TheLongRider · 03/03/2021 09:11

Who needs a gym when you have to lift a staffie cross!

Lenny came in last night with a soaking wet tail again.

No sign of damage this time thank goodness (we've only just finished the antibiotics from a few weeks ago...).

Unintentionally swimming animals seens to be the flavour of the month Grin.
He had a good wash and curled up with Basil.

Papergirl1968 · 03/03/2021 19:06

Does one of your neighbours have a pond? Although I wouldn’t have thought just his tail would be wet!

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 03/03/2021 19:42

@Papergirl1968

There's a river at the bottom of the garden. If they fight any intruders there they occasionally go in (usually only partly)

Papergirl1968 · 03/03/2021 19:51

Ohh, how lovely to have a river at the bottom of the garden.

Fluffycloudland77 · 03/03/2021 19:52

As long as it stays at the bottom of the garden.

Poor dog falling in.

Papergirl1968 · 03/03/2021 20:26

It’s left her coat lovely and soft, which led to wonder if it would do the same for my skin and hair. Perhaps I could sell canal water to
Boots and make a fortune! Grin

purrswhileheeats · 03/03/2021 20:32

I woke up at 3am with stabbing, piercing pains in my heart. Actually thought I was having a heart attack but woke up to find Woody snuggled under the cover and padding away on my boobs with his claws Shock
