Anybody else's cat a complete idiot? Walter doesn't seem to realise that if it's chucking it down out of the front door, it's chucking down at the back too. Bless him.

@coastergirl yes, it's a well known phenomenon, and the inspiration for a book by Robert Heinlein:

When we were living in Colorado there was snowfall. Our cat I'm a cat man wanted to get out of the house so I opened a door for him but he wouldn't leave. Just kept on crying.
