Poor Flynn is feeling poorly: but sitting in the bath is very new!!

Quite concerned really

What happy news! Yay Flynn! He looks very pleased to be home :)

I have also syringed the lactulose into his mouth and he has eaten his food

So no more mixing it up

Plus I heated his food a bit and I think he preferred it

Yay welcome home Flynn! Warming food slightly is a good way to get them eating as it makes the food smell stronger (which can be a bit bleurgh for us humans).

I think my vet told me to syringe it into his mouth as you could be more accurate with what he was taking in. i used to microwave his food for 10 seconds and I remember them giving me antacids and meds to stimulate his appetite. I also used those cat soup sachets to get more liquid into him.

He looks so happy to be home. That has put a big smile on my face! ❤️

I'm glad DD is feeling a bit more hopeful/positive now. Getting the house done is a big sigh of relief indeed!

Pleased to hear DH is getting his fitness & stamina back. That lovely man needs to stay well & safe.

Flynn looks Purrrrfectly happy there! & sounds completely pandered to!! Warming their food slightly does seem to help it's just a bit bleurgh for us, but needs must.

I might get a friend to drop in on them while we are away; my daughters boyfriend is staying to look after him but he hasn't really had pets

I think you need to take solace in the fact that Flynn came home and had a lovely final evening with you.

Remember the best days you had together and try to enjoy your holiday.

I read somewhere that when cats are nauseatedthey search a cool surface. If he has kidney problems, he might not be eating because he is feeling unweel. Perhaps some fluid and anti nausea can get him going again?
