She's working from home... still hasn't done the reports she said would be ready half an hour ago

I know it's hot and I accept that Basil is very fluffy - but I'm really not convinced that this is what the kitchen table ought to be used for.

He's done it a few times but never managed to capture it.

He has a little black bag he's taken too and he pounced and squealed at the sock. He's also dragging Muslins out from where we keep them

I can't help but think that Ernie is up there, over the rainbow bridge, approving.

The cats have spoken to dh.

A block of ice has been placed in from of a fan (in a tray!). Apparently that’s purrfect.
Fans on their own were not enough.

The things we do!

My DC brought a mouse in last night.

It was still attached to the trap. God only knows how he got it through the cat flap.

Cat was eating her birthday chicken until 10pm last night then having cuddles until 3am then slept by my head again. 7am she was howling as no-one had put chicken out for her breakfast.

She's also supposed to be on a renal diet but think the renal food is fine in addition to her normal food but shouldn't replace it.

Does Colin make that "Worra, worra, worra!" noise that kittens make when they're learning to growl?

My big eejit of a tabby loves pompoms and trots around with them in his mouth calling as if he's just caught something. He bounces into my room with one and drops it onto the bed to show me his prey.

Unfortunately he is also quite a good hunter, do it's not always pompoms he's carrying.

Not entirely sure what’s going on here. But he’s happy.
