@wheresthatcatgonenow - think he's bringing you your dinner Grin
Yes, exactly, you are too rubbish to hunt it yourself so he has to show you how, making sure you have each step right. So far, he's taught you "display nicely". Next will be "pounce and kill". He's working backwards.

The Boy Wonder of the Dynamic Duo has retired from the onerous task of jumping up to stand on the wash basin, so the slaves can turn on the tap for his drink of running water. Now, he expects the skinny girl slave to lift him up to the wash basin!

At the age of 5, it’s not because he is getting infirm!

This is Tripod Trixie who is a great follower of the First Cat Law, 'if I fits, I sits'. She is hiding from her brothers who are probably out killing things in the garden.

Lenny can't leave Basil alone, so has sat down next to him (after giving him a quick wash) to keep him company. Not sure Basil is that bothered though Grin.

One is most definitely enjoying the warmth of the radiator lol. One is sleeping next to me and twitching, the other one is asleep in her dip on the back of the chair Grin

@TheLongRider a glorious scene of domestic harmony. Tiny Nemo so loved by all.

TheLongRider · 09/10/2020 00:10

Ahem, black cat (Star) cannot stand Hobbes (tabby), is ambivalent about Nemo (ginger) and occasionally sniffs noses with Mouse (grey) and absolutely detests Charlie (not in shot).

Charlie and Star grumble at Nemo if they think he has come too near and they are quick to cuff him around the ear if he's within paw distance. He's very submissive towards them and they really don't have anything to complain about, but here we are.

So is that Charlie on the table football, TheLongRider. Both are fantastic photos. I am so glad for Hobbes that he has found Nemo.

TheLongRider · 09/10/2020 10:17

Charlie is a large semi-longhaired black and white cat. He's my cat but allows me to timeshare with the others. He's the alpha male of the household, or at least he was until Hobbes (tabby) came along. Here's a picture of him in close proximity to Nemo.

Hobbes and Nemo are the sweetest ever.

Nemo sees Charlie as a project.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 09/10/2020 11:07

Can we have more photos of Mouse please - I love a grey cat Grin.

TheLongRider · 09/10/2020 13:01

Mouse is the beta male in this house. He's the most talkative of all the cats. He was a little terror to other cats in his youth and bullied some of my previous cats. The boot is on the other paw now and he is definitely the bottom cat in the hierarchy.

He really needs a different family with about three teenagers and two adults where he could be the only cat. He would love to be worshipped for his beauty, he's very pretty for a cat, and he knows it. He is a bit nervous but really likes people. Mouse likes other cats if they're friendly and don't try and bully him

He's had several health issues with idiopathic cystitis and constipation but he's doing really well now. He's about 9 years old. Mouse and Nemo were playing on the stairs this morning.
Here he is with his best mate Charlie and taking over my laundry basket.
