A cat has been on doorstep for over 3 hours crying.

We first saw her in garden last weekend but she just wandered through.
Then she came on Christmas eve and was friendly, adult DC stroked her. Our cat hissed at her through window., she cried for over an hour but we went out and went next door who run a dog hotel was scared off when dogs went out.
Today she is back and still here crying at the door, we finally gave in and fed her this evening, but cant let her on because of our cat, but given her shelter outside.
Going to take her to vets tomorrow to see if she is chipped, and put picture up on local Facebook.
She is gorgeous and looks in good condition , very fluffy.
What else can we do,? I would keep her if she got on with our own cat.

I think we lasted three days neither of them were bothered by the wound.

Can’t you take the cone off?
Our little girl cat was neutered just before Xmas. The vet gave us a cone in case she wouldn’t leave the wound alone but actually she didn’t mess with it at all so no cone.

Are you on Nextdoor.co.uk? We often get pics of lost or found cats, and they are often reunited with their owners.

I did try a few missing pet websites and local Facebook sites Thinking
I had a quick look at nextdoor.co.uk but seems all adverts and wanted too many permissions so I deactivated it.

Sadly with all that is going on DS withdrew from house he was buying, so we still have Cwtch.

She and Rosie hate each other so we have to keep them apart all the time

She has grown a bit , but has taken to hunting mice in the last week and whinging for food.

We still love her to bits and she likes helping with my knitting and the printer is her favourite toy

Poor ds, lots of sales are falling through.

So glad she has a loving home, particularly with everything that is going on in the world.

That's very sad for your DS, so much disappointment at the moment. What will you do with Kitler now? I see that all the adoption centres seem to be closed. We had decided to look for a cat just before this hit (it's a year since we lost our lady) but missed out.

No one wanted the sale to go through more than Rosie.

I'm not getting rid of her . We just juggle cats.
Rosie is in dining room over night but spend a lot of day upstairs. Cwtch goes in the garage at night. Today she wfh with me in morning then was out in the garden in the afternoon with dd. Rosie came down to join me.
We will muddle through until this is over and ds gets his own place. He is missing his gf just as they were supposed to start the next stage of their life together buying a house etc.
