A cat has been on doorstep for over 3 hours crying.

We first saw her in garden last weekend but she just wandered through.
Then she came on Christmas eve and was friendly, adult DC stroked her. Our cat hissed at her through window., she cried for over an hour but we went out and went next door who run a dog hotel was scared off when dogs went out.
Today she is back and still here crying at the door, we finally gave in and fed her this evening, but cant let her on because of our cat, but given her shelter outside.
Going to take her to vets tomorrow to see if she is chipped, and put picture up on local Facebook.
She is gorgeous and looks in good condition , very fluffy.
What else can we do,? I would keep her if she got on with our own cat.

DH has called new cat Kitler and says she is out for world domination.
New cat does have a really lovely nature, very playful but loves to snuggle on lap, although she just told me off because i stopped waving her feather stick around. She is just mean to my other cat

Old cat is around 10 , we got her from CPL 9 years ago , she was really little but just had kittens. She is gentle and sweet and the most polite cat , says thankyou if you open door for her and waits to be invited to sit on laps.

A cat with manners! That’s a first. Kitler will have her own little kingdom soon hopefully.

We attempted to adopt a lovely older rescue cat last year, with much the same effect on our other cat.

It seemed a case of 'Gosh, thank you, your house is almost perfect. I'll just get rid of that other cat for you and then we can live happily ever after.'

I am so glad there is a happy ending for Kitler. We have 6 cats and I just hate the thought of a cat without a good home especially when it is so cold out. It sounds like Kitler really was starving and may have got herself lost.

Kitler has been to vet, been vaccinated and registered in DS name. Her real name is Cwtch which is Welsh for cuddle. She's booked in for a spay just incase she hasn't been done. Vet thinks she is about a year old.
She also needs to go on a bit of a diet as she is getting a bit chubby.

She thinks you're lucky to have her, obvs

Thats great news. I wonder what her story is if she was in good nick. Did someone just move and leave her behind? It will be interesting to see if she has already been spayed.

Update

She went into to be spayed to day. Turns out she hasnt been spayed but has very small ovaries and womb, so definitely not been pregnant before either.
She still isnt getting on with our other cat but will have another loving home to go to soon.
She is feeling very sorry for herself in her cone of shame
