Which strange items do you cats love?

Boy kitten (7.5 months) has a real thing for pencils, he steals them and runs off with them, and spends ages rolling and flicking them about, it is his greatest joy.

Girl kitten (5 months) likes DD's troll toys, she nabs them by the hair and runs off with them, she also has a thing for the puppies from older DD's puppy suprise toy, she steals them and runs under my bed with them where no one can reach.

Fatty used to live the plastic covers we put on thermometers at work. I used to come home with pockets full of them. (Paediatric nurse)

Bobbles, anything plastic - he loves rolling round on plastic bags then jumping in them. He also loves to jump in a paper takeaway bag.

He always steals his empty Lik E Liks packets from the rubbish bag and hides them all.

Oh another random one- he LOVES sleeping on the bath bat as soon as we've gotten out so it's still damp.

One of mine is obsessed with cotton wool buds. He will happily play with one for ages 😊

My cats love:

Cotton buds, any small plastic toy, licking plastic bag handles, my hair, smelling human’s breath, ear wax

We've got a couple of Santa hats in our Christmas box, one of our cats is obsessed with one of the hats, particularly its pompom, she goes crazy over it every year. Totally ignores any other bobble hats.

Glue.
Any sticky residue really but she loves glue best.
She also spends her afternoon in the sun on the bathroom window sill eating the silicon seal.

Nail files. The second you get a nail file out she's on your lap, rubbing her face on it, trying to chew it. Which is weird when she hates everyone most of the time.

Cotton buds are an obsession - opening the box brings her running from anywhere in the house.

Plastic bags are for beating up, paper bags are for sitting in/launching attacks from.

We also have Cat Customs - all new items (humans included) entering the home must be fully inspected and approved. This can take up to half an hour and may need to be repeated.

Yy to nail files - but same cat also has a real penchant for foil cake tins that mince pies come in! Christmas is like, well, Christmas for her - mince pies ahoy!! She likes them folded up in to a triangle and thrown for her - she will and fetch 😄

Tiny cat loves pencils too, we bring the little ikea ones home for her. She also loves plastic bags.

They both go daft over bleach too and I have to be super careful when I clean the bathroom.

Babbaganoush Regular visitors will stand still for inspection like prisoners being searched. I tell them not to, but Weezolcat's the boss round here and we all know it. 3 kilos of furry dictator.

Any preference as to which shop the bag is from?

Mine brings in little twigs from outside, and leaves them just inside the kitchen door.

Suki loves bags. We prefer her to play with paper ones and so she likes it when we go to Primark

Glad to see other nail file addicts, one of my cats loved chewing nail files, the sand paper ones. Her sister went mad for melon skins.

My cat loves hurtling in the stairs into the bathroom and skidding across the bathroom floor on the mat.

I'm forever having to rescue the crumpled mat where it's been splatted again the wall.

Leaves, she hunts them and leaves them all over the house. And she likes watching raindrops on the window I have just discovered! And sitting on DCs school bags/DH workbag!

One of my fosters was completely obsessed with my Fitbit. If I took it off he always found it and ran off with it.

Our one loves Christmas baubles. We found about 15 knocked off the tree and rolled under the sofa one year. Needless to say Xmas is her favourite time of year as she loves biting and trying to eat the tree as well.

Christmas baubles & cotton buds have already been mentioned. The kittens also used to go mad for scrunched up shredded wheat wrappers, carrying them round the house and then playing football with them.
