The litter tray

Cats Protection, how long between homecheck and new kitties?

Assuming they have suitable ones, which I've been told our branch have. I am super excited, home check on Saturday, which she's pretty much said we've already passed as she knows our road and the houses well. Any chance of kitties by Sunday evening? Should I go cat shopping? Did I say I'm excited?? Grin

As long as the boy is done and 100% you dont let her out, she will be ok for a little while.

She is ready to be nurtured at 4 months tho

Just got back from seeing them. OMG they're so gorgeous. Much more gorgeous than those photos. So cuddly and love hugs although they'll need a bit of work as they're nervy although they didn't seem nervy just now.

So, ginger cat's name we'll keep because it suits him. Girl cat needs a name. She was found on the roof of a London theatre so I need a nice theatrical name.

Annie, Molly, Adelaide or, my favourite, Gypsy!

Wow a theatre roof! She must have been terrified. I hope they're with you soon. Naming after a theatre she could be Vic/Victoria (as in Old/Young Vic), Duchess (not keen personally) or quite apt for a cat Her Majesty! Alexandra (Palace)? Am not convinced Hackney Empire is good.
Vaguely following Each's theme-Matilda?

I know! I'm just sorry they didn't say what theatre . Was hoping there was a lovely name of a London theatre but they're all pretty unusable and the ones that are (Vic, Alexandra etc) are all family human names.

I like Matilda but dd1 refuses.

We are first in line for a kitten from Cats Protection, home visit on Thursday. Said we can get him weekend if all ok.

I know Ill find out but do they neuter, flea, worm them etc. Just that I know wood green do and its the same fee.

Off to post another thread for kitten tips!

Yes they chip, de-flea, worm, vaccinate and, if they're old enough, they're neutered. My boy has just been done and the girl is slightly too little but I was told that she'd be ready in about 5 weeks but that they'd pay. They should come conpletely ready and if there are things that aren't done they'll have arranged and paid for it so you just have to take them.

Rockbird, when will you get them?

Mrs Blondie, our two came from cats protection, had had everything Rockbird mentioned but they were 18 weeks when we got them. A tip, the the lady who did home check and foster carer both really liked biscuits so get some just in case for the home visit, you don't want to fail (not that you're going to) through no biscuits.

They're going to the vet for vaccs today so any time after that. She was making noises about Thursday/Friday but I don't think I can wait that long!

Brilliant, at least you know it's going to be this week.

And we realised that because we don't know when they were born, only an estimate of their ages, we've had to pick birthdays for them! That was an exciting few minutes, the dds got very involved with that one!

Oh and talking to my DD about these yesterday and she suggested as you were thinking of Theatre names had you considered any from "Cats".....her MIL had a lovely cat called Mr Mistoffelees or Mr M for short and it really suited him https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/OldPossum%27ssBookoffPractical_Cats
