I wanted to reply to @EachandEveryone but thread number 6 is full! That cooling mat thing looks fab.

What is everyone's cat up to today?

Today I am 26 weeks pregnant and my cat Freya is communing with the baby. Mainly purring and gentle pawing in response to little kicks. I am hoping they'll be friends! Meanwhile Maisie is looking on disdainfully. She's in the huff because I tipped her out of the pregnancy dungarees, which she had commandeered as her personal nest.

Had cats at vet for a check up (comes with my vet plan) and been given a row as Dusty is overweight (just under 5kg) but Storm's weight is fine. He suggested a microchip feeder so that Dusty's intake can be monitored/ reduced. He was always the bigger cat but I suspect he is eating elsewhere as he isn't that food motivated at our house

This morning I woke to Maisie sucking my toe. I did take a photo but I won't scar you with it. She's a strange, perverted little creature.

The v.e.t. was pleased with their teeth at the annual checkup this week but said Freya is on the verge of tubbiness and to cut down their wet food. There has been quite a lot of indignant meowing in the evenings so far....

Arthur (ginge) and Bramble. We tried to get Bramble out for a tiny cuddle a little while ago and she bolted back into the cage. It's going to be a long process!

Ern woke his Dad up at 5.50am..He was sleeping downstairs so not to disturb me as he was getting up earlier than me, and I think Ern got confused.

See I think it was clever of him to think Dad should be already up and to go and wake him. Dad just thinks Ernie was in twat mode...usually it's me he wakes up on OH's off days
