I went into Club Tropicana this morning and found him on the radiator bed that Postie brought him.

Last night, though, I came into my bedroom and found him on the bed again. He was given three Dreamiest for that and although his courage ran out after a very short time, he came back later - after lights out - jumped up on the bed and sat down, cat couchant but paws all tucked in. He ran out of courage when I finally had to move my legs - but he was at least there. (And the electric blanket was on. )

I seem to remember a post earlier about him never being likely to use the radiator bed... good boy!

I'll confess that I changed its position to one of the lower-height radiators in the room. Still...........

It's huge for him, I suspect. I know he slept by himself but I received the impression that he wasn't allowed in bed at any time. It's a big step, therefore. Much courage required.

Oh HOW wonderful! And just in time for the colder weather. Obviously your slightly tough love about shutting him in CT for his indiscretions worked, and he's figured out better to be with you. 😻

Oh, he loves you cozie, and he's starting to show it! This is all new for him, so he's not sure how to proceed. Your joint story is like a gentle tale of courtship (with added urine though).

Little M on the front cover you say, Lana? It should be Mr. C though, surely, as you and he came up with the idea. Re. the intellectual property thing - perhaps setting up an email address for people to send photographs to, with a small caption? I'd be happy to help with the admin and setting it up if you like.

I'd drop a quick email to MNHQ asking for the 'need to's and 'need not to's. I suspect they'd be very helpful.

PS - and if the front cover is of Mr C, it absolutely needs to be a picture of him doing some 'personal' grooming. There are so many wonderful cats on this board that there needs to be a very high standard of picture. (I.m thinking of - at least - a couple of truly......abandoned poses from the past plus ASBO and the toilet paper and that wonderful picture which a poster put up of a senior (black) cat kissing a kitten in a window.

Asbo is an anti social little so & so who thinks all other cats should be exterminated. He would only wee on it. Mil has told us previously "not everyone's as fascinated with him as you are"

Also he's forsaken me for the radiator bed. This would be less galling if the radiator was actually turned on but it's stone cold.

Olli's in there, all right. Fluffy we can't publish a definitive reference work of important cats and not have asbo. It would be like publishing a guide to prime ministers and leaving out Lloyd George.

All hell's broken loose here. Just had to get police escort to buy fags. Someone was murdered just before lunch, lavishly, on the front door. Stabbing. Cordons, v nice police, road closed, bus evacuated, etc. Really oddly, it hasn't been in the press at all. Mr C kipped through the whole thing and has only woken because the foxes sense something and are howling in the garden.

I used to live, while in London, in sight of a major football ground. It was quite noticeable how the police used to have this unofficial code: 'local residents good, non-residents ......not so good'. They always treated us impeccably, even on match days (when they were a tad exasperated.)

The cost of fags in London are a crime, no wonder you need a police escort.
