Snoozing on his electric blanket after eating some lunch. Smile

hollinhurst84 · 06/03/2017 13:31

Cozie GrinGrin
Ollie is glaring at me from outside. Apparently the ground is wet but he won't come in because there are scary decorators and PAINT smells Hmm

ThornyBird · 06/03/2017 13:35

2/3 are watching Casualty with their eyes shut. The other is guarding her box from intruders...

Can I join in?

I have one on each chair in the front room- these chairs belong to them and are not to be sat in by humans!

That'll be them until teatime now I reckon...

CaptainWentworth, they are very posh, indeed. Will they be having kippers for tea?!

cozietoesie · 06/03/2017 14:27

I wouldn't disagree with either of those two. They look as if they'd eat me for tea if I did. Grin

EachandEveryone · 06/03/2017 14:29

I know!!! I love how clutter free the house is and how the decor has to blend in with them

SecretWitch · 06/03/2017 16:43

Kitties chilling with me. My hip is bothering me and they are keeping me company.. or enjoying a warm bed, whatever...

Mine is currently holding me hostage!

FillySucker · 06/03/2017 17:03

Mine is currently sulking on the back of the sofa. She had to go in the cattery for 3 nights while we were away. Fetched her home this morning and within an hour she had gulped down a dish of food and bought it straight back up again on the living room carpet (she ALWAYS chooses a carpeted area to be sick on even though we have roughly 50/50 hard floor to carpet). Followed by chewing the throw on the sofa (only ever chews anything when she's been in the cattery), and scratching up the stair carpet (also only does this when we've been away and left her).

Has spent the last 2 hours crying and whining to be picked up just so she can give me a look of disdain when I give in and jump straight down again.

Experience tells me that tomorrow she will be very loving, follow me everywhere and then spend the next week ignoring me to show me she is boss.

I love that cat though!

EachandEveryone · 06/03/2017 20:20

Do u let her out after the cattery? I have to pick mine up at the weekend.

cozietoesie · 06/03/2017 20:48

What I've found always works best with cats is to immediately revert to a rigid but normal routine - and to largely ignore them. (Especially if they show signs of temperament. Try to 'coochy-coo' them and you're doomed! They'll revel in that. Grin)

CaptainWentworth · 06/03/2017 22:26

Trustyourself2 they had whichever type of Felix they aren't currently turning their nose up at (we've renamed 'As good as it looks' to 'As good as it gets' since that's obviously their opinion) - although I think DH also sneaked them some chicken leftovers when I was out...

cozietosie obviously in their heads they are big scary panthers (well Rosie is, the tortie and white) but they are total softies really!

Loving seeing everyone else's gorgeous fur babies. I need to spend more time in this section!

Trustyourself2 · 06/03/2017 22:41

My 20 year old boy is on the lap tonight. He doesn't often grace my lap with his presence. He must be having a weak moment.

Bengal boy has discovered catnip. I think he has been on a bit of a high for the last 48 hours Confused

9GreenBottles · 06/03/2017 22:43

This stray boy, who has been hanging round our garden for a few weeks, is currently tucked up in the garage ready to go to the vet in the morning to be neutered, and from there to the cat rescue. My other four are off to sleep and will be pleased they've not got a tomcat sitting on the doorstep in the morning waiting for food.

Vinorosso74 · 06/03/2017 22:50

9green he certainly has the chunky cheeks of a Tomcat. Handsome fella mind.
Ours did her sunny day routine, some breakfast, snooze, more breakfast, outside after insulin injection, in and out the catflap a few times but sitting in sunny spots whilst out, small lunch then sleep on bed.....

HemanOrSheRa · 06/03/2017 22:50

Oh Captain! They are beautiful! Are they related? Their faces are identical Smile.

Here is Mr Knuckles after his roast chicken dinner. I don't know where t'other one is. She's mooched off somewhere.

cozietoesie · 06/03/2017 22:55

He has a real 'Darn her!' Look on his face, 9green. Grin

2017SoFarSoGood · 06/03/2017 23:17

Mine is probably still strutting her stuff cowering after her embarrassing uncatlike performance last night.

DH and I reading quietly in bed, daft cat leaps onto DH's bedside cabinet, knocking iPad, eye drops, tissues and sundry other items to the floor and losing balance rapidly. Big hop onto DH's chest, with claws out to make sure doesn't continue to lose balance. Once the howling of DH and scrabbling of cat dies down, see DH has a bloody 2 inch gash on his chest – amazingly, right where his healing scar from open heart surgery is. Quite rightly sent her to sleep elsewhere for the night whilst wondering what he tells caridiologist at appointment Friday.

Poor Man. Silly Cat (who sneaked in during the night to sleep on my side of the bed)

9GreenBottles · 06/03/2017 23:28

He'll have more than a "darn her" look on his face tomorrow Cozie. Poor boy! He's very handsome and surprisingly gentle - apart from the battle of wills with the other stray tomcat (the one that doesn't sit on the doorstep for food) Vinorosso Grin

cozietoesie · 06/03/2017 23:35

Achh - he might not even notice much.

And it sets him up for a nice home with a roaring fire and two or three squares? All good Smile

HemanOrSheRa · 06/03/2017 23:47

Aw. He'll be fine 9Green Smile. Bless him and his fuzzballs Grin.

Her Maj has come in for the night. She's just had her roast dinner and going through her night time ablutions.
