Both conked out now after a busy day of inside and outside and in again. Eating and a couple of spates . And a roast dinner Smile

EachandEveryone when she was younger I used to keep her in for 24 hours after she came home from the cattery, but she has been with us for 10 years now and rarely leaves the back garden anyway (she's scared of most things - other cats, mice, any bird larger than a blackbird), so I leave the cat flap open for her as soon as she comes home.

CaptainWentworth · 07/03/2017 08:35

HemanOrSheRa your two are gorgeous too- glossy as anything!

Mine are two sisters from a litter of four (other two were boys); they're British shorthairs. Getting on for 18 months old now so probably not quite fully grown yet.

Bluebell is daddy's little bear, and Rosie is mummy's cheeky little madam!

EachandEveryone · 07/03/2017 08:42

God this thread is making want another one I don't know how my madam would take to a brother or sister. She loves the boys next door and is often sat on their doormat and when I took her to the cattery she was the only one on her own

Ernie has been quite bright this morning and has been out in the sun. He has obviously got used to the change in getting up for the last few days at 3.30 ish better blummin well not expect it next week

Now we usually think of Ernie as a stupid cat...but we came home on Thursday and he didn't come running down to greet us like he usually does..I found him on our bedroom windowsill...absolutely transfixed at looking at next doors roof (usually is on birdie watch looking the opposite way.

There was only an Ernie look-a-like stuck on the apex of the roof. A quick search of a FB selling page found it was 6 month old who had gone missing the previous day. Owners came down and rescued him. I think they were grateful

Oh forgot a pic...Ernie on birdie watch

Ernie, what a hero you are!

Belle, it's so lovely to see a bunny inside. Obvs adores Corey-Pip.

ememem84 · 07/03/2017 13:03

This was my girl first thing this morning. She stayed on the bed all night with me.

Then woke me up at silly o clock meowing for food and then kneaded near my feet.

She's not happy with me because I took her to the vet yesterday and she's on reduced food as is almost 5kg.

She's my lovely big girl. (She doesn't like being called fatty or chunky or lumpy).

cozietoesie · 07/03/2017 14:50

She doesn't look so 'fat', em. She looks more 'muscly'.

ememem84 · 07/03/2017 15:00

Yes. That's it. She's my muscly beef-cake girl.

She is a big cat though. With little stumpy legs.

Aw em she's built for comfort not speed!

Fluffycloudland77 · 07/03/2017 17:14

Dn's pampered princess is a tabby with short legs. Their vet said tabbies are often overweight.

EachandEveryone · 07/03/2017 17:58

Mine is earning her keep at the cattery sweeping up with the owner. Im so relieved she seems to be enjoying her second stay there its made such a difference knowing shes safe and happy on the farm.

Trustyourself2 I have two house bunnies...I couldn't keep them outside...they are such a joy and mix with my other animals fine .I have a bigger bun who I rehomed and he is so tame. The bunny in picture with Corey-Pip is Tinker.
This is Belle asking me when I was going to get a move on and do her breakfast...monkey!!!!

Dd wants a house bunny and cat when she leaves home.

Mine has 'helped' change the bed today, and that was clearly exhausting,as guess what, she's sleeping.

I'm going to be reincarnated as a cat, but not a tabby, as I'm a fat human.

Em, did yours used to look like my Daphne when she was younger? I can see Daphs belly is starting to sway abit when she walks. It scares me as she is an indoor cat and she also demands three dinners a day. Ive had to extend her stay on the farm last time she came back she was starving but this time i might try to stick to their twice daily routine. Its hard thought when shes pulling your trouser leg towards the food cupboard.

ememem84 · 08/03/2017 17:08

each yes. Well I suppose so. We've only had her for 6 months. She's very pretty though (as is your daphne).

I've reduced her biscuits in the morning. She woke me up at 5am this morning (not happy) I went back to sleep until 639 then made her wait until 7. Girl needs to learn I'm not just bringing food when she demands.

She's due her wet food at 6. She's already going crazy meowing for it. I've told her to be patient. She's not getting it.

Usually she doesn't get her evening meal until 6/630 as we're never home from work until then....
