I'm just home from work and they were waiting for me outside the door. Now, having begged for a second breakfast and stolen my spready cheese, they are having a mammoth pre-nap cleaning session...one will try and sleep on the laptop I'm using, the other will crash out in one of the kids' bunkbeds...I wish my life was as carefree and lazy as theirs!

Danicc · 03/03/2017 13:24

Mine is screeching at the back door, knowing it is raining, wanting to go out. I have now opened the door to show her it's still raining about 6 times. She's going to get nasty and start picking on the other cats soon because it's still raining.

SnugglySnerd · 03/03/2017 13:25

Mine has slept on his chair all morning. Woke up about an hour ago, looked outside and meowed at the rain before using his litter tray.
He sat on my lap for a few minutes but then realised the heating is on so he's now asleep on the shelf above the radiator. It's a hard life!

CoolCarrie · 03/03/2017 13:25

Sleeping in the bamboo reeds which is Major Tom's favourite spot, a bit of shade, and a bit of sun, best of both worlds

NotAPuffin · 03/03/2017 13:25

Dontstayoutside, I love the size mismatch : ) And I really hope their names are Cupcakes and Whoopies.

cozietoesie · 03/03/2017 13:26

Danicc

Well stop the rain for Goodness sake. That's your role! Grin

Danicc · 03/03/2017 13:36

Grin Wouldn't be so bloody annoying but I do have patio doors which she's sitting next to, and can see out of 🙄

Kiroro · 03/03/2017 14:07

Sleeping on the clean washing!

clean washing is just somehow so much more comfy

hollinhurst84 · 03/03/2017 14:20

Ollie was sat on the windowsill the other day, head outside and bum inside (as usual!)
It started with hailstones and he turned to look at me... His face was ShockShockShock "HOOOMAN WHAT IS THIS MAKE IT STOP"
I was howling at him, he was so so bemused and cross

Botanicbaby · 03/03/2017 15:22

Update: moved from airing cupboard to let me know that lunch should be served. Immediately.

Pacing around now. Making sure I'm at her beck & call. I mean anything could happen.

kel1234 · 03/03/2017 15:29

My dcat was meowing to go out, so I let him out. Then he wandered off along the wall and isn't back yet. He will be back in time for dinner.. Always is.
Then he will probably curl up on the sofa or chair and go to sleep, then get woken up by my ds who likes to stroke him.

Allergictoironing · 03/03/2017 16:45

Mine WERE asleep, until I came in from work just now - well they needed their rest, having been galumphing up and down the stairs sounding like a herd of baby hippos from 5am this morning! They are now sitting in the hallway starting accusingly at me because having spoken to them, stroked them & given them treats I have the audacity to suit in the study where my PC is rather than in the living room watching them crash out again.

Once I go in there, they will probably sleep until about 8:30 and supper time, then demand fussing for an hour, whereupon they will start to charge around the house again to see how long they can keep me awake for tonight.

NewPurrs5 · 03/03/2017 16:55

Stumblemonkey what is that?! It looks like what we need to provide sanctuary to the poor cat from our loud over loving kids!

dementedpixie · 03/03/2017 17:03

My two kittens are asleep beside me. They started off on me bit then moved to a cushion instead

My psychocat, not satisfied with failing to chew Barbie's arm off, is chewing DD's cardigan. While DD is still wearing it Hmm. She's not right in the head.

cozietoesie · 03/03/2017 17:53

Not at all, Dr. With DD wearing it, it may be just at her preferred temperature. Smile

Fluffycloudland77 · 03/03/2017 20:50

Ours has come in soaking & dried off in front of the radiator, & had a nap on the bed with me.

Surprisingly difficult to sleep with a 14lb weight on your chest.

SoOverItNow · 03/03/2017 20:53

Mine was ragging around the rug and playing with bits of lego... or so I thought.... until I saw the tortured dead mouse.

I love dcat but I hate it when she kills things and brings them inside.

Fluffycloudland77 · 03/03/2017 21:01

Ours kept mithering by his food cupboard once, I kept feeding him because I thought he was hungry then one day he dove in there & came out with a mouse!.

I still think ndn was lying when she said pest control were out for moles, there were no mole hills on her lawn. I reckon she had mice and they came into our house.

Weedsnseeds1 · 04/03/2017 01:36

He's incredibly overexcited, because I've been away since Tuesday night, so he's showing off, pouncing on things, rolling over to "tummy of joy" position, purring like a train and starting to get a bit bitey! I love him Smile

scaryteacher · 04/03/2017 12:22

Mine have been sulking as they were collected from incarceration this morning. They told me they would have liked Vienna, and I should have taken them with me. They have shouted at me, scoffed food, as they don't get fed at the cattery ( or so they tell me) and now one is outside, and the other has assumed his normal position on the back of the sofa.

Doubtless they are considering other ways in which to subtly punish me for abandoning them for three whole days.
