Tales of destruction welcome. No judging if your cat understands the phrase "Shut the fuck up, Please just be quiet!"

Aww Rusty, he is a lovely big boy x

RustyPaperclip · 11/09/2016 20:29

He is beautiful isn't he (proud cat mum moment!) he is the sweetest cat I have ever known but a terror for stealing food. He filled a cat shaped hole in our hearts after our Siamese died

RustyPaperclip · 11/09/2016 20:31

DameDiazepam I love the colouring of your Bengal

RustyPaperclip · 11/09/2016 20:33

And Armful I can't believe that he is naughty at all, he looks like a little sweetheart (or maybe that is what he wants us to think Wink)

SageMist · 11/09/2016 21:05

Awe, thank you. They are both pretty special.

WatcherOfTheNight · 12/09/2016 01:26

Oh Wow ! Just Wow!

Absolutely stunning all of them,I've been looking at Bengals for years & telling DH that we ARE getting one.

Fluffy I want an absolute loon of a cat to fit in with the rest of us,if it sleeps on doors like
Mad's terrorist it will fit in well.Grin

Second bengal here, both low foundation. One destroyed leather chairs, v independant, the second is permanently glued to us, but breaks any glass containing water left at her hight. Two cats with amazing personalities.
Are male bengals more destructive than females?

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 12/09/2016 09:24

I have to admit, I wouldn't get another Bengal, I love and adore Puccini and he chose us and that's fine but dear Lord the noise Shock

ClarkL · 12/09/2016 16:24

I have 4 of the little buggers
Badger - rescue,
Princess - Ex breeding queen, she couldn't produce milk so after the second litter retired
Hector - Returned to breeder as 'trouble' He isn't. He is just a typical bengal.
Terrance - arrived last week! He's a teenie tiny terror buddle of fluff kitten and my first ever 'chosen on looks' kitty

We also have a moggy, but he's just chilled and ignores the bengals.

Things our cats have done,
Badger went missing for 10 days. Was found in a village miles away. He yelled at us for not getting him sooner (like we werent trying) and peed in the wardrobe on his return.
Badger likes duck and chicken, if we cook either he MUST be shut out the kitchen for fear of attack
Badger also quite liked the neighbours chickens, the neighbour didnt like Badger attacking his chickens so we had a catio built to maintain the peace
Badger begins yelling at 5pm until his Dad arrives home, anywhere between 5-7
New kitten arrived, Badger pee'd on the sofa

So basically, all bengals well behaved EXCEPT for Badger. Bad kitty!!

Redken24 · 12/09/2016 17:02

dont have a bengal - enjoying the pics and stories tho.

MrsSparkles · 12/09/2016 17:10

Ah. I have 2 part bungalow, their favourite trick is to follow me if I go for a walk ( I've been given cat harnesses as a joke). I had to lock them in the house for fear of them getting list.

Now they only go the end of the road but sit their and yowl until we're out of earshot.

Love them though.

thegreenheartofmanyroundabouts · 12/09/2016 18:04

My moggie is part Bengal on his mum's side. He is huge. I've had Maine Coons who are long and leggy but boy cat is solid muscle and weighs 8kg at 2 years old. He doesn't chat much but when he howls everyone knows about it. I love the colouring of Bengals but didn't think they could go outside.

Dame You'll get another one. When ours is in the cattery it's too quiet.

Beautiful cats here.

Thegreen - mine goes in and out as he pleases, I can't imagine keeping him in, he'd go spare.

Fluffy- more than likelyHmmGrin

RustyPaperclip · 12/09/2016 21:54

Ah Smoking I am in love with your cat!

Iamdobby63 · 13/09/2016 08:59

Well it's not so much of a question 'can you let a Bengal out' more like you don't really have much say in the matter if they want to.

First time posting a pic so hope this works. Here's my boy

My boy is the offspring of a bengal queen who decided that she was going to go out and shag. So she met a local tom, resulting in a litter of spotty and white cats.
He has a lot of the personality traits of a bengal, he runs to meet me home from work, I hear him before I see him. He is a prolific hunter, bringing me presents most days.
Unfortunately, he is a six dinner sid, and has ended up doing time at the local cats rescue as he escaped before I could grab him to go to the vets for a fighting abscess.
He's trouble, but I love him dearly 💓
