Garden how awful for you and your boy. Good luck for the vet.

Glad he's brighter , I'll read the other thread...

I have just started breeding as I was fed up of seeing some many that aren't health tested on Pets4Homes, so only have genetically clear cats of pkdef and pra and also heart scanned.

Top left we have Tweed, she is an F4 so her great grandad was an Asian Leopard Cat. She is my lap cat and a real purr machine, she isn't overly playful but goes crazy for raw meat!

Top right is Solly, my boy, he is a standoffish character and not keen at being messed with though does like a good back rub. Playful boy.

Middle left is Spec she is a funny onion. She would be known as a dork lol! Again not one for a fuss, she likes her routine and bombing round the house at 100mph!

Middle right is Shady our youngest, he is the naughty one, well not naughty but gets up to mischief. He is so friendly and not bothered about being messed about with, he's a lap cat but also really playful. He is so intelligent and loves a game of fetch! He just sits there and looks you straight in the eye, really really nice boy.

Bottom left is Spice our first bengal unfortunately completely blind with PRA, we had her before the test came out (only this year) and a bit grumpy. She is a friendly girl and follows our footsteps everywhere.

Bottom right is Clee our moggie who just keeps out of the way of the spotty ones and treats our house like a hotel lol.

Bengals are addictive! Funniest story? When Spice was a kitten she decided to investigate the toilet as hubby was having a wee! He came running in to me with the cat in the towel shouting we need to give her a bath she's covered in wee lol!

That article is quite shocking but to be honest it does concern me the amount of back yard breeders on Pets4Homes. Their kittens aren't going to be brilliantly tempered. I also thing a bengal is easily recognisable whereas other breeds aren't so people can easily jump on the band wagon and look for the slightest thing. Whereas chances are all cats are fighting they just notice bengals more

Fluffycloudland77 · 18/11/2016 20:40

Ours has a lovely temper with me but is a nightmare for fighting with other cats.

When ndn ginger boy sits in our garden though he literally doesn't know what to do. It must be bad form to attack a cat lying in your garden but avoiding eye contact with you.

Reading with interest!

One of my work colleagues is getting a Bengal kitten. She says she's done her research but I think if she had, she'd have realised it's not going to be a Brilliant idea. (Being left alone for 12 hour shifts) I predict a trashed house. He's going to be an only kitten as she can't afford two. She's also got a 4 year old Hmm

Toddlerteaplease · 18/05/2017 09:58

Very tempted to buy a big bucket of popcorn and settle down!

Fluffycloudland77 · 18/05/2017 20:03

She doesn't know they can yell at you for 45 minutes straight, does she?.

No I don't think she does. It concerns me that I really don't think she appreciates what she's letting her self in for. She suggested I cat sit when she goes on holiday. Not having him in my house!

Fluffycloudland77 · 18/05/2017 21:35

TBH I don't think any of us do with the first. Maybe she'll get a placid one.

Beautiful cats. We think our lovely rescue girl has something exotic about her, part Tortie, part Tabby and maybe something else. She is 100 percent attitude and a ruthless killer.
