Ollie is missing and I'm hysterical sobbing. Searching since 4am and no sign

Ours does too, they log the cats description for non chipped cats.

I wish chips doubled as tracking devices, I would pay out for that function.

I keep clicking on your thread hoping for some good news.

Will garage bloke let you into the garage, so you can shine a torch about to reflect Ollie's eyes?

This was the first thing I checked after work. If I lived near you, I would help.

You know, my logical side says he's got that Spring feeling and he'll be back without a care in the world.

He's survived for four years outdoors, it'd have to be pretty drastic for him not to come back xx

hollinhurst84 · 20/06/2016 19:43

I think the same
Had three calls, none we think are him (two I have definite results) but I'm glad as it means people are looking

Or he turns up in a month
"Hi hooman, sorry about that, found me a woman. Oh this broken leg? Nothing. And my face scar makes me look well hard. Here's the £1000 vets bill" Hmm

So sorry to hear this Hollinhurst, but everyone's right - he'll jaunt back in soon enough with a 'what's the problem?' look. Perhaps for the future, once he's back, you could consider a Loc8tor collar although apparently the bloody things fall off a lot so you have an idea where he's gone.

Report
RubbishMantra · 22/06/2016 07:56

You can find the collar though, using the receiver. Which is really small, so it's not like hefting something the size of a ghetto blaster about. Grin

But when it's your cat that's gone walkabout, and shed his collar, it's the cat you want to find.

I'm going to invest in a real time GPS tracker when their Loca8t0rs give out, then at least you know where your cat hangs out,

Fingers, paws, everything crossed that Ollie strolls back soon. I've asked DDDH to watch over him and guide him home. He was a cat person.

Me too. Eleventycat and I are wishing Ollie home as hard as we can. Bloody hope he's listening.

I've asked every cat I see to bring him home. Flyers to another 70 houses today
Stable cat (split personality, survived paracetamol overdose and being squashed by a round bale of hay, known to bite/swipe people) was suspiciously quiet and sat like this on me for quite a while

can I have a hand hold please?

I'm so sorry he's still not home, I'm checking your thread every day - keeping the flyers/Twitter/Facebook reminders going is a v good idea, keeps him in people's minds. Keep going - no news is good news, he has to be somewhere. Have you had any luck with getting someone to check that garage?

Fluffycloudland77 · 22/06/2016 20:38

They know when you're feeling sad. Keep it up though, I see missing cats on our fb spotted but no updates and I never know if they've been found yet.

I'm telling Martha every day to catcommunicate (new word there methinks) with Ollie and tell him to get himself home.

Report of a cat that could be him
The person who called is going to take a photo or grab cat and take it to vets. He has cats of his own and is happy to trap it

eleventybillion · 23/06/2016 18:55

Everything crossed in the eleventycat house too. Mind he's not going to be too chuffed having his road trip curtailed! Come home soon Ollie.
