Morning all,

Thought for some fun we could share some photos of our little fur babies!

Xxx

Here are my two.....

Max (white) typical lad, he's a big hunter but very loving

Milly (black and white) such a little darling, very girly, she tries to catch butterflies!

I'll confess to rather liking the look of soulmatecat - what a bruiser. Is he a meanchops or a secet cuddlecat? And how does he get on with little sweetie Maud, that pretty girl?

Stanley has a sort of purposeful look about him in that picture. Was he on a hunt or after a treat? (Good looking boy that he is.)

Gingermum · 03/07/2014 16:08

Cozie of COURSE he was after something. I'd just bought one of those ridiculous Waitrose Deli Treats for cats (appealing to the gastro snob, they call them 'deli' treats as opposed to 'mechanically recovered salty crap for cats') and he was putting on his 'FFEEEEEED MEEEEE' expression. Two seconds later his gob was open wider than the Khyber Pass!

cozietoesie · 03/07/2014 16:43

Well Waitrose got the taste and smell right anyway! Wink

Tobleronester · 03/07/2014 17:59

Big cat Toby doesn't think much to small cat Maud. He was abit spoilt and over indulged being an only cat and seems to know hes a pedigree cat and she's not. They sometimes play together but most of the time he ignores her and tries to bash her up if she's stupid enough to go near him. She does have an ally in the dog though because big cat obviously also thinks the dog is below him and scum really so those two have to stick together Grin

Stanley and Barry White! What brilliant names.

Wonder what BW's singing is like?

Gingermum · 04/07/2014 00:01

Great name - La Foof. It sounds like a rude continental expression for a Fanjo! Grin

Gingermum · 04/07/2014 00:06

Seniorboy is Elegance Personified.

Gingermum · 04/07/2014 00:07

Was Leonard caught in the middle of washing his gonads by any chance? Grin

cjdamoo · 04/07/2014 10:57

They're wonderful, cjd. How old are they now?

cozietoesie · 04/07/2014 11:15

PS - just looking again and - is that a Mom and 3? She looks tiny.

LastingLight · 04/07/2014 12:14

On a cold and rainy winters day in Cape Town all 4 cats find comfy places...
Cozietosie thanks for all your advice regarding our rescue kitty. We have decided to keep him (he is the one on the chair). Our old boy (ginger on the bed) has got him well under control. Ginger girl has started playing with him. Grey girl is tolerating him better but she has lost a lot of weight since we got him so is due for a vet visit.

BruisedCrab love the colour of Harry's eyes.

cozietoesie · 04/07/2014 12:29

Oh Dear LastingLight. I'm pleased that the rescue is becoming one of the family but it's a little worrying about GreyGirl.

Best of luck on the vet's visit.

Lovethesea · 04/07/2014 18:29

These are the lovely Huntercat and Feistycat. Both rescues. Hunter is the tabby who likes to bring us rabbits and has educated the kids on the finer points of internal organs. Feisty came a year after Hunter but soon decided she ruled all.

Wasn't it Huntercat who had the bad accident, op and enforced cage rest? If so, he looks very well.

Lovethesea · 04/07/2014 18:48

Yes, he played hunting with a car, staggered home, got onto my bed and stoically and stupidly played I'm Fine for nearly 24 hours until I saw him hop down and not bear weight.

Tons of pet plan, 4k of treatment, ortho etc. but they thought a good outcome very possible or I would have PTS rather than put him through it.

Now he leaps fences with ease, hunts and plays and is lightening fast. Also remains a bombproof kid loving cat happy to sit next to them and watch cbeebies and to be nearby as they tear up the garden with water pistols and scream. He is unphased.

CarbeDiem · 04/07/2014 20:39

'' These flowers smell nice Mum. MmmHmm''

They must've tasted nice too because he bit the heads off :)

Fluffycloudland77 · 04/07/2014 20:54

Don't let him do that with lillies!

CarbeDiem · 04/07/2014 21:31

I don't buy them because I know they're toxic. He doesn't eat them anyway just pulls the flower off and puts it down.

Nagasaki · 04/07/2014 23:09

The name is Watson. Lord Watson.

He rules the roost and all who live here.

Here is our new addition to the family. His interests are drinking straws and paper bags.
