The tortoiseshell and white cat was FABCat. She lived 31.8.96 to May 2013 and I miss her so much. She was the most amazing cat ever to live. In the photo she was 6 weeks old.

My Tortoiseshell is Daisy. Aged almost two and has been with us since May 13 from the rescue place. She is so funny, tiny and I love her so much.

GingerBoy is Tom, came from same place as Daisy, aged 2 and a real softie. He treats my house like a hotel. Has breakfast then goes off foe the day, saunters in miaowing his head off and then goes on a bed for a nap before disappearing again. I hate it. I want them to stay in all the time! Grin. He is so adorable and I love him so much.

They have really helped us after we lost FABCat and the people who abandoned them need to be without food and water for days too.

Blimey - that's some size for the age she was. What breed is she?

(And what a confident little (or not as the case may be) puss!)

Blithereens · 24/03/2014 08:02

This is the greatest thread ever! I love every one of them

sashh · 24/03/2014 12:11

Misty on a shelf (she has a bed, a radiator, a human bed, but no she wanted a shelf)

And Buffy and Spike, Buffy (fosters) is a normal sized cat, spike, well you can see he is twice her size.

They surely choose some very weird places to sleep and even though we may not see how they can possibly be comfortable, they clearly are - or they would move and moan about the poor service while they were doing it!

NotJustACigar · 24/03/2014 12:51

This is SuperCat, rescued from a barn as a kitten by a little girl with a butterfly net. When we got her she despised us and was full of worms. Now she is the clingiest lap cat ever and refuses all but premium brand food and treats.

I think I'd have nicknamed her 'Posey Paws'. She's definitely placing them for the camera! Wink Pretty girl.

I've posted one of him before, but just gotta show him again. I reluctantly had to pts 'cos of illness this month. We adore(d) him. Only with us nigh on 3 1/2 years (he arrived at our door, don't know real age).

The first photo shows him sitting beside me on the sofa. His paw on my leg. He seemed to require physical contact towards the end of his life. A lot of the time he would sleep across my legs or lean against me on the sofa. He's put his head back to look up at me and I'd give him a little kiss on the crown. He would also come up to bed with me towards the end.

The second photo shows him a bit lighter than he was. Stripes are all in order though. He was not too easily perturbed.

He looks a gorgeous boy, Birds Thanks

Birdsighland · 24/03/2014 14:25

Thanks Blithereens. Yeah, he was. He was an enrichment to our lives. Short lived, but a wonderful enrichment. He was a choosy and obstinate little piglet when it came to food, though. Many a time if all I had in the house was one particular brand, he'd turn his nose up as if to say, 'you can't seriously expect me to eat that'.

cozietoesie · 24/03/2014 15:39

What a wonderful face. He looked to be a very happy chap, Birds.

My sphynx cosimo. He's my best friend! I have never met anyone else with a sphynx; they are bonkers, although cosimo has always been careful around the baby.

One of our relatives had one years ago.

Birdsighland · 24/03/2014 16:10

I hope he had enough happiness cozie.

Twitteroo, Cosimo looks ready to claim the Pharaonic throne back.

cozietoesie · 24/03/2014 16:17

Doesn't he though? Quite pasha-like.

blizy · 25/03/2014 17:30

blizy he's lovely! and I like his hat Grin

cozietoesie · 26/03/2014 08:41

He looks just like.......a cat who has had a first attempt at a crochet square placed on his head. How long did it stay on for after you took the photo? Grin

Handsome boy.

blizy · 26/03/2014 10:31

Otherwise known as ChunkyPawsCat? Is he a mouser? (Those look like some muscles on his legs.)

ballsballsballs · 26/03/2014 21:30

This the lovely Roberto, AKA Raffles the gentleman cat. Some of you lovely people will remember when he joined us in October. He belonged to a close friend, but her arsehole neighbours bullied him to the extent he was grooming all the time and going bald.

He's not the same frightened cat who joined us last year. The hair on his legs will probably always be thin, but the rest has grown back. He loves tummy rubs, sleeping on my feet and watching the telly on our laps. He's incredibly affectionate and has a very, very loud purr.

Apologies for the duplicate pics - I have no idea what happened there.

cozietoesie · 26/03/2014 21:37

He looks relaxed and happy now. Smile

ballsballsballs · 26/03/2014 21:42

He is the boss of us cozie. As it should be. Grin
