Our cat went missing 17 months ago...

... and his brother has never stopped crying for him. Last night he sauntered back in, ate some food and curled up with his brother on the sofa. He's downstairs asleep by the hearth at this very moment. He's thin and a bit unkempt but his fluffy, well nourished brother is cleaning him up. They're both purring away. Where the hell has he been?

That is the loveliest thing. I have read your posts to dh and dd they are both going aaaaaaaw, just like me!

My cat got really pissed off when more and more things-that-move-but-don't-have-fur-arrived.

Brilliant! Laughed quite loudly at the mental image of a cat-napper returning 'squitty'

"My cat despises babies and children. I don't think she even recognises them as human"

That's how I got my beautiful tabby boy - went to see him when he still lived with his previous owners and you should have seen the look on his face when the baby appeared in the room.

Still have to turn down the tv if there's any crying toddlers or babies being shown.
