What should we named this little guy?

We’ve just adopted this little guy…he’s smaller than he looks here and only about 6 months. His last home was calling him Pocket but he’d just had that name for a month or so and doesn’t seem too attached to it. And we don’t like it 🤣

What does he look like to you?

What should we named this little guy?

My first thought was Milo. But I love the pp's suggestion of Basil (and imo sounding like Sybil from Fawlty Towers is a positive of the name 😁)

As he is a beagle, it really doesn’t matter what his name is as he won’t listen anyway!

Our beagle was called Sherlock as with all his sniffing he was always 'on the case' 😬 Beagles have such amazing personalities, they can be a handful but make up for it.

I'm loving all the human names suggested here - he looks like a dog in need of an (old man/dad style) human name!

Montgomery nn Monty is good. I like Winston too but limited nn options! Maybe Barry? Nigel? Trevor? Stanley? I like Bert as well. He's gorgeous 😍
