Send your questions to The Dog Whisperer, Cesar Millan

Great news for all those in The Dog House. We've been given the opportunity to send our canine questions to none other than the Dog Whisperer himself, Cesar Millan. Cesar is over in the UK to promote his forthcoming new series of the UK version of 'The Dog Whisperer' which will be aired in UK on Nat Geo Wild in early February 2011. We'll be filming some members of Mumsnet HQ (plus dogs) putting your questions to Cesar in January and we will be airing the film across the site at the end of January, to coincide with the launch of his new series. To stand a chance of getting your question to Cesar, post them to this thread before end of Tuesday 21st December 2010.

i think a lot of water has flowed under this bridge. why can't we all agree that another person is entitled to their point of view, and leave it at that?

must everyone be proselytized to our own point of view , particularly as this is not a situation like fur farming or the one where the poor dog was left outside to freeze and die (on another thread at the moment)?
now the scum that did that, i should like the same done to him.

RubyBuckleberry · 23/12/2010 19:19

perhaps, although in defence rather than an attack

RubyBuckleberry · 23/12/2010 19:22

well said SeaGreen

  1. Not rude, direct. And on this subject, knowledgable and experienced. You will note however that you don't see me on the camping threads because I have neither experience nor knowwledge of camping and I think I would look foolish waxing lyrical about something I've never done and have neither an interest nor any knowledge of.
  1. AGAIN... the results of CM's aggressive techniques have been proven to be unsuccessful, damaging and plain dangerous to man and beast in the long term as well as unacceptably cruel. Successful training and/or rehabilitation which does not result in such damage can be achieved with other, far more humane, practices.
  1. I sense you're getting rather annoyed.
Bella32 · 23/12/2010 19:26

There's a camping thread on here? Xmas Shock

VallhalaLalalalalalalalaaaaaa · 23/12/2010 19:29

There is, Bella,

Nasty, uncomfortable, cold, manky hobby...

... although I'm happy to be corrected by those who participate in it. Wink

RubyBuckleberry · 23/12/2010 19:30

direct. bollocks. its rude.

yes the blatant use of insults annoys me

VallhalaLalalalalalalalaaaaaa · 23/12/2010 19:30

Uncivilised holidays Are Us (Allegedly) :o

JustineMumsnet · 23/12/2010 19:31

Hello all,
So, given the widespread lack of enthusiasm expressed here, we reported back to Cesar's people and said we'd only be prepared to do a live webchat. Unfortunately they haven't got the time to rejig things to have a webchat at a sensible time, so with apologies to those who've posted questions we aren't going to go ahead with the Q&A.

Thanks to all for the input. We readily admit that we aren't experts on every subject but the great thing is we can always rely on Mumsnetters to see us right Xmas Smile.

Merry Christmas to all (and to all your furry friends).

"We readily admit that we aren't experts on every subject but the great thing is we can always rely on Mumsnetter to see us right"

A beautifully crafted sentence and I can only imagine the associated facial expressions and hand gestures that go with it.

Xmas Grin
