I just had a thought that Jacket Potato might be Mark Knopfler?? Has this been suggested before? I can’t remember any clues that fit other than guitar playing and Romeo and Juliet, but it could be his voice. He hits every note perfectly and with a great tone, but doesn’t have a ‘massive’ voice if you know what I mean.

I thought that Phoenix could be Michael Sheen.. but the clues don't fit.

I also thought that Jellyfish could be Beverley Knight. I think she was the one who ended up performing at Prince's post-awards party and would link to the Royal clue.

I think we are working too hard on trying to prove Jellyfish is not Amber Riley and JP is not Ritchie Thingy because we all want it to be some British girl band/boy band/ ageing rock star/ soap actor who we might all recognise form years of watching shit Brit telly of a weekend.

I feel we are all going to be leading ourselves up the garden path, only to hear Joel shout at the panel 'Oh wow! It's the household name you don't actually recognise but look amazed please!'

I love Rhino (busted fan!!) it's Charlie simpsons voice for sure. That song was really not right for him last night I hope he does something more him next time! I like phoenix. Glad otter finally went, hope jacket goes first next week! I think he's overstayed now

That would be amazing. She could do a double act with Becks and we'd all think it was Beyonce and Jay Z. Or Maisie off EastEnders with that chap from Hollyoaks. Or Shane Ritchie.

Yes I wish it wasn't Amber but I think it is.

Richie is just boring, no one will recognise him.

Rhino is too obvious. So was knitting and otter, got them both right. Also got pigeon but at least she surprised some people.

Mark Knopflers voice is heaven, no way it's him. Jacket Potato is cheesy old rock dad cringe. They should have a leather jacket and a pair of dad jeans on him.

Just putting this out there but it's highly unlikely that any of the remaining singers are not UK based or at least European.

In series 1 there was 3 of the acts that were American. In Series 2 there was 1 act that was American. In Series 3 there were no American acts in the show, though Pat Cash and Natalie Imbruglia did compete.

Does Richie Sambora live in the UK? If not, you can pretty much cross him off your list, no matter how well the clues fit. The UK rarely coughs up enough money to put an American celebrity up for a number of weeks so that they can take part in a TV show.
Same with Amber Riley. If she has finished in a show in the West End, then perhaps the timing could have been right for her to do this after that, but to just do this show, again, in my humble opinion, I think we really do need to be looking a little closer to home.
