Scrudd · 14/04/2010 22:55

Brilliant! ohhhh, so excellent indeed.

policywonk · 14/04/2010 22:56

Oh there'll have to be, surely!

I love the way there was as much plot in that episode as in the entire series so far

OK have googled to reassure myself - there's definitely a Season 4, it's just started production

And (going on what we saw tonight) Joan will be back - yey!

Yes it's already filmed and showing in the US July, I think.

Was fabulous and I cheered when Joan came to save the day

policywonk · 14/04/2010 23:08

When this series started airing here, someone on here who had already seen it said 'it starts off slow but ends with a bang'. And also that Pryce became more interesting towards the end. She was RIGHT on both counts.

I know they're making s fourth series but there were rumours it wasn't going to be shown over here because of budget cutbacks - anyone know anything?

DastardlyandSmugly · 15/04/2010 09:32

OMFG have just watched this on Sky+ and it was amazing. I'm so pleased by the people who are at the new agency. So sad about Don's kids though.

southeastastra · 15/04/2010 10:48

the kids part was very sad, i'm surprised betty is going through with it tbh, off to reno

the have to show the next series here! it's the best thing on tv

DastardlyandSmugly · 15/04/2010 12:22

I find Betty's new chap really creepy, although not as creepy as Joan's awful doctor.

policywonk · 15/04/2010 13:35

Yes, I'm expecting poor Betty to have a hard time of it (again) next season.

Was anybody else pleased that they didn't take that beardy account guy with them? He annoys me. (The one who had a wank into a wastepaper basket a few episodes ago.)

policywonk · 15/04/2010 13:43

Can't wait that long for season 4, however am now addicted to Nurse Jackie

Nuttybear · 15/04/2010 21:48

can't read this thread until I've watched it too dangrous! Back later

BexJ78 · 15/04/2010 22:00

I have just watched it on sky plus. it was soo good! Does anyone else think that roger sterling is just the funniest character?! The beeb had better buy season 4 or i will be withdrawing my licence fee in protest!

SearchingForMyInnerJoan · 15/04/2010 23:00

Yes - Salvatore will be back, of course.
He's the Art Department!
At least I hope he will....

InThisSequinBraYesYouOlaJordan · 16/04/2010 07:23

I wondered if Don having to kick down the door of the art department was a metaphor for him breaking down the boundaries between SC and Sal - there really wasn't any reason for that little bit of plot otherwise. I think that indicates that Sal will be back.

I saw this on Digital Spy:

Bryan Batt axed from 'Mad Men'

Bryan Batt has been dropped from the upcoming season of Mad Men.

The actor, who played gay art director Salvatore Romano in the show, revealed his concerns earlier this week that he had not secured another year with the '60s drama.

Show bosses have now confirmed that Batt will not be returning for the programme's fourth season, Starpulse reports.

Series creator Matthew Weiner said: "Losing Bryan was a tough moment for the show, but that's where we are. I know how people felt about Bryan. I obviously love working with him, and he has been an indelible character since the pilot.

"But I felt it was an expression of the times that he couldn't work there anymore."

TheFoosa · 16/04/2010 09:09

aww

Nuttybear · 16/04/2010 12:49

Oh! I have to get the box set to keep me going. So sorry for the kids they are going to have the biggest problems. I thought the smashing of the door was Don's working class roots coming out. Very pleased with the new agency team. I hate Pete but he does make the show. LOVE the way the brought Joan back. I knew Pyrce would be kept because they introduced him I'm sure for us the British audience. I love his stiff upper lip and that he ditched his lackey. The conversations between Peggy & Don are brillant I like that they are sort of friends and will never be lovers. & Now Betty's off to Reno I can write myself in as Don's new lover te he!!! Must going shopping for theat style of clothes.

MrsShu · 16/04/2010 12:53

MrsShu · 16/04/2010 13:45

DastardlyandSmugly · 16/04/2010 13:56

Yes really don't like the beardy accounts guy.

Loved it when Lane (?) was sacked.
