And the girl who is his wife was in the BBC docusoap Paddington Green as the jobbing model and actress. IMO she is a quite a good actress, has been in a few things over the years.

Really enjoyed it - Billie Piper's Yorkshire accent freaked me out for a bit and I suspect she had spent time with Fay Mellor's daughter to get the accent as she sounded just like her!

But what has happened to Sue Johnston's face? She has obviously had those weird cheek fillers that Madonna has had. So disappointing - she looks weird and I think her acting is suffering.

The war was very fresh in peoples minds, the presence of a pole brought it home to the jewish couple. Her mum was living in the past. A siren went off but we used to have a siren like that for fire in the 60's before pagers.

Liked it a lot, except wtf...Sue Johnstone's freaky puffed up cheeks? Met her a couple of times a few years ago, and she didn't look like that.

Also Billie's yellow 'dancing' dress was a bit revealing, non, for early 50's, married woman off out to a dance? What with the thin straps...

Gosh I really enjoyed this! Billie has gained a new fan. The guy was bloody good looking but I felt he looked too current. Didn't fit the era. Not complaining though!

Thoroughly enjoyed this too, and I for one would be totally sucked in by the bloody gorgeous, sweet talking Polish guy too. Feel a bit of a crush coming on here
