bet the cord is around the neck. I'm afraid I would have pulled the emergency buzzer to call for assistance before now.

can't deal with the stress! Aargh!

MegBusset · 09/02/2010 21:52

I have just been shouting at DH "For god's sake why doesn't she turn over and push"

SparklyGothKat · 09/02/2010 21:52

DD1's heartrate slowed, the doctor (midwife didn't deliver her as was premmie) shouted at me 'PUSH NOW OR I WILL GET THE FORCPES' I shouted 'you are not cutting me' and DD1 was born 2 pushes later, she scared me into doing it.

BelleDameSansMerci · 09/02/2010 21:53

That boarding school trailer makes me cry. Why do they have to go?

MuffinToptheMule · 09/02/2010 21:53

Leaving home at 8. Going to be a popular one on mumsnet.

orienteerer · 09/02/2010 21:53

VengFulKitty - I agree!

NormaSknockers · 09/02/2010 21:53

Eglu · 09/02/2010 21:53

Foxy she sadi she couldn't move to get onto all fours. MW said okay, but you need to push

NanBullen · 09/02/2010 21:53

i found that the urge to push was completely over ridden by the sheer agony of the baby crowning. ended up a ventouse delivery because i kept trying to squeeze my legs together

gaelicsheep · 09/02/2010 21:53

herbietea - with me I completely lost the contractions and the urge to push.

mowcop - the consultant pretty much said that to me (and accused me of being scared of crowning). Never mind me nearly decking her, my MW nearly decked her!

NormaSknockers · 09/02/2010 21:54

I can barely look

BelleDameSansMerci · 09/02/2010 21:54

God, that heartbeat is all over the place.

MuffinToptheMule · 09/02/2010 21:54

PUSH

southeastastra · 09/02/2010 21:54

by that point you just want to sleep don't you, it's really weird (or was that just me)

moodlum · 09/02/2010 21:54

Fuck that baby is in such a state. I can't bear it.

cleanandclothed · 09/02/2010 21:54

Grr formula add.

NotAnOtter · 09/02/2010 21:54

sucks through teeth...

saggarmakersbottomknocker · 09/02/2010 21:54

C'mon Steve - give her some more encouragement!

foxytocin · 09/02/2010 21:54

there are 3 strong healthy people there who could get her into that position though. fucking

i hate the mentalilty.

Heathcliffscathy · 09/02/2010 21:54

shouting at her doesn't seem to be helping much.

shouldn't gravity be lending a hand here?

why isn't she on all fours or standing?

NormaSknockers · 09/02/2010 21:54

I'm going to have to mute it I can't bear listening to the slow heart rate
