I love Fringe.

Heroes lost in early series 2 I thought, and FastForward made it 1 episode in this house before being discarded on the shit pile along with loads of others.

notyummy · 25/01/2010 12:42

Another Aly hater.

If my lawyer turned up looking like her, I would send her home to get changed:

'Is that a skirt or a belt?'

bibbitybobbityhat · 25/01/2010 12:43

Arrgghh someone mentioned Ally McBeal. I thought those were two words that had been expunged from my consciousness forever. I always felt a terrible outsider because I just couldn't stand it. Like when I was 13 and didn't like GREASE. I thought I was a freak.

PfftTheMagicDragon · 25/01/2010 12:44

Am liking Big Love at the moment, but the series are so short - series 4 is only 8 episodes FFS!

squeaver · 25/01/2010 12:48

I can say yes to all of them except 24 (too exhausting)but you have to let me join as I was the one who recommended the farking Good Wife to you.

So ner.

Fave up on Bothers and Sisters because Flockhart plus Field is just one hand flappy movement too many.

PfftTheMagicDragon · 25/01/2010 13:14

squeaver, I have been meaning to give up B&S for the last year, I have a terrible habit of hanging on to dying shows, I get embroiled in the characters. It's awful these days though.

InThisSequinBraYesYouOlaJordan · 25/01/2010 13:35

Am watching 3,4,and 5, also Nurse Jackie. So maybe I can come in on a couple of days a week.

Can I throw Brothers and Sisters into the ring?

In my defence we only have basic cable TV so can't watch Lost and 24 but I bet I would if I had access.

Am waiting for respite in my life so I can buy Sopranos box set and do all over again.

noddyholder · 25/01/2010 13:39

god where do you get the time to watch all those?

mii · 25/01/2010 13:53

SKY PLUS

BradSplit · 25/01/2010 14:20

I HAVE FINISHED !!!

midnightexpress · 25/01/2010 23:08

Reviving this to say I'm getting closer to joining yer clique, - just watched good wife and it was vair good.

Except someone plase put me out of my misery and tell me where I know the more senior female lawyer from - Julianna Wotsit's 'mentor'. Who she? Also the MIL.

Gah.

Anyway, I'm holding out on 24 and Lost, both of which past sell-by date, IMO, and Glee which I remian unconvinced by after tonight's episode. V cliched, no? Gay boy/Dad, Preg girl/wrong dad yadda yadda.

mentor used to be in Cybil, she was married to 'Dr. Dick'

midnightexpress · 26/01/2010 17:16

THANK YOU Cyb! That's it (haven't seen Mamma Mia) - I knew I'd seen her in something and had 'comedy' in my head the whole way through.

PfftTheMagicDragon · 27/01/2010 20:07

midnight, I think Glee overall is worth the effort. I find it VERY inconsistent, some episodes brilliant and some very poor and I do imagine that after series 2 I will have had more than enough.

Big Love I still like, thought the latest series is getting rather ridiculous in terms of storylines.

Lost really did lose it in the middle, but I think it got better again, but this coming years is the last and within the mess there is some good characters. Fringe is good, if you like JJ Abrams. He does have a habit of starting a show and losing interest and moving on to the next - Alias started good then lost it, Lost - started amazing then he pissed off, now he's started Fringe but 2 series in it's still good.

SueSylvester · 27/01/2010 21:28

I love Glee.
