persephonesnape · 23/12/2009 16:05

OooOOoO!

one of the best? one of the best? It is the best thing about Christmas YouMerryMerryKitten!!!

Katymac did I send you a Dr WHo Christmas video 2 or 3 years ago, when you missed it, think you went to Egypt? Or was that someone else?

Katymac · 23/12/2009 21:31

TBH that sounds familiar however I have been cultivating a forgettory recently - it used to be a memory but it got broken

If you did I hope I said an appropriate 'Thank you'

RustyBear · 23/12/2009 21:42

Unfortunately DH/MIL have decided that the weather is too bad for him to go & fetch her, so she will be spending Christmas with SIL instead & will probably be with us for New Year instead.

Trying to decide if this is better or worse - OK, so I will be able to watch Hamlet undisturbed, but instead of having her muttering her way through the last but one DT episode (which I would be able to catch up with on iPlayer before the finale) it will now be the regeneration which will forever remain in my memory with a backing track of MIL trying to remember whether it was 1964 or 1965 that she saw Bernard Cribbins at the Bournemouth Pier Theatre......

RedTartanLass · 23/12/2009 22:32

Katymac is was you! How sad am I to do a search

MrsSaxon · 24/12/2009 12:56

One more sleep!!!!!!!

PerArduaAdSolInvictus · 24/12/2009 13:02

Placemarking...

As we have a compulsory scandinavian Christmas eve, and my folks aren't over till Boxing Day, this will actually be the biggest part of our Christmas day. How sad are we?

KaySqueeHarker · 24/12/2009 13:19

Looking forward to it like nothing else. In fact, I'm anticipating a sense of disappointment after it finishes and I have to wait another week for all the loose ends to be tied up and the Doctor to actually 'die' cue ridiculous sobbing

persephonesnape · 25/12/2009 07:55

Knocks four times.

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Woo hoo it's Christmas DR WHO day

nymphadora · 25/12/2009 18:59

OMFG Noone is here to talk about it

TipsyFairydifferentID · 25/12/2009 19:05

Nymph- it was excellent! not fair it's a 2 parter!

KaySqueeHarker · 25/12/2009 19:07

Just popping in to hop about like a loon. Timothy flippin' Dalton being enigmatic and the last 10 minutes had me giggling like a kid. The Master race indeed.

TinselianAstra · 25/12/2009 19:10

What's with voiceover man? There is no voiceover man in Dr Who.

Is that why the Master is all bleached-blonde, to up the Nazi analogies? The Master race, oo-er.

TipsyFairydifferentID · 25/12/2009 19:10

but it works trill! for this story anyway!

nymphadora · 25/12/2009 19:10

We LOL at the master race -especially with the blond hair do'

Very intruiged by the Doctor-Donna especially after she didnt change (no longer human?)

Dd2 is desperately phoning everyone she knows to talk about it!

TipsyFairydifferentID · 25/12/2009 19:19

does that also mean that Wilf is no longer human?

TinselianAstra · 25/12/2009 19:22

Wilf was in a special radiation-proof box.

If anyone else was in a radiation-proof box they wouldn't be changed either.

TipsyFairydifferentID · 25/12/2009 19:27

dh seems to believe that Wilf was a soldier in the time war.

nymphadora · 25/12/2009 19:35

Time lords controlling Wilfs time line?

persephonesnape · 25/12/2009 19:48

But donna was 't changed... But she is closet timelord though.

Don't like her intended. Want it to be similarly wiped stuttering bloke from library.

Oh, eep. She remembered.

We were squeeing like mad here too. I wondered whether wilf is another time lord too - maybe that badge on his hat is the equivalent of the Master's ring, or John Smith's fob watch.
