b&c, he just seems to love himself so much - that's what I'm getting from him. Puts me right off him, even though he does have a good voice. Tbh, I thought his song on Saturday was not done well and the perf. just now was a carbon copy of Joe Cocker's phrasing and really rather kareokesque.

Also Simon's constant 'well, here's the winner, why have the rest of you fools bothered to turn up' attitude prejudices me against him, even though it probably shouldn't...

I wish Danyl would just sing the songs, not turn them all into a big show-off thing of giant notes. Yuck.

For the first time since I have been on mumsnet, my DH would like me to post on his behalf to say that he thinks the twins are like Beavis and Butthead! Personally, I'm speechless and have fallen in love with Danyl all over again!

So I think what the Danyl haters are saying is they woulds rather him change his high singing notes to a dull Lloydy type drone, because clearly having the ability to sing the socks off the other contestants is proof that he loves himself [sigh]

My 12 year old nephew just posted on Facebook that he's well chuffed the twins are through - 'john and edward to win'!!! All his mates are liking the comment and adding similar ones to his post....that's the voting public on this show so we better get used to seeing them for another few weeks!

And his hand gestures...did you notice the "keep the applause to a dull roar, folks" one? Makes him look a pillock.

He has no originality or adaptability tiredsville, he overdoes all his performances in the same sort of way if you know what I mean. At least, that's why I don't like him.
