Cheryl Cole's outfit - WTF?

Sorry if this has been picked over on the X-factor thread but I thought it deserved a thread of its own. What was she thinking?

Do you remember when Kylie first went "raunchy" and tried to do a Madonna - there were shots of her live show where she had fishnets and buttock cheeks displayed. It looked so Sub and naff and contrived. Cheryl's outfit looked like she was the Lithuanian entry for the Eurovision. How bad was it? And I have only seen a photograph I didn't actually watch the programme.
I have seen her video though and thought that was a dog's dinner. That sheer body, coming up over the waistband just looks bloody uncomfortable - I hope that look doesn't hit the high street!

DP liked it I thought it was a bit weird too, like she was trying to hard!

it was very janet jackson wasn't it.

he hat was too big and made her look like she'd been at the dressing up box.

and knees, are just not sexy, put them away.

saying that, i think she's lovely and i like the dancing especially the wiggley hip joint stuff.

I think it was a multi tasking outfit IYSWIM. It had to be outfit she could perform the dance moves in but still contnue the show in.

I think the other outfit she could have danced in like that would have been hotpants, but then she would have had to sit next to SC wearing hotpants.

jacket was nice and if trousers werent spilt then would have been a good outfit

funny that cc was wearing a black sheer top, almost identical to one worn by one of the girls from that girl group she criticized last week for dressing too provocatively

Awful, which is such a shame as she used to dress so lovely. On Xtra factor all you could see was her WHOLE leg and a big ugly tattoo.

Was it not to stop one looking too closely at her mouth?

I thought she looked fab, bearing in mind it was a costume, as opposed to an outfit.

And as for slagging Kandy Rain for their stripper outfits, CC is not trying to shake suggestions of being a lap dancer or whatever else, there lies the difference imo.
And her dancing was excellent.

I'm obviously getting too old and mumsy, because all I could think was "it looks soooo uncomfortable". And to think she had to sit down in it....

the song was utter rubbish to start with. I don't know what kind of voice you need to get a wow effect with that song. Without the black suited stomping mass behind her and the drum beat stomping and hip thrusting to wind it up, I think it would have been nothing at all really.

I like Cheryl, she seems sweet and she is beautiful but that outfit didn't show off her looks, since you couldn't see her face at all under the hat. Was a bit like a cross between maybe Prince and I love Jeanie.
