Cheryl Cole's outfit - WTF?

Sorry if this has been picked over on the X-factor thread but I thought it deserved a thread of its own. What was she thinking?

Do you remember when Kylie first went "raunchy" and tried to do a Madonna - there were shots of her live show where she had fishnets and buttock cheeks displayed. It looked so Sub and naff and contrived. Cheryl's outfit looked like she was the Lithuanian entry for the Eurovision. How bad was it? And I have only seen a photograph I didn't actually watch the programme.
I have seen her video though and thought that was a dog's dinner. That sheer body, coming up over the waistband just looks bloody uncomfortable - I hope that look doesn't hit the high street!

She was found guilty of assault but found not guilty of it being a racist assault:

She is pretty but makes everything look cheap

If I had that figure I'd probably dispense with clothes altogether.

I would wear a cat suit for the hell of it. something I never would have looked right in somehow.

I think she has a decent punch judging by the black eye on the toilet attendent but if she was drunk perhaps she fell over as she punched and that leant extra force to it.

saggy, did you really think it was a good stage outfit? I don't know looked to me as if they had no real overall concept and thought, let's cut out a bit here, stick on a bit here, slash open the legs.... Kind of messy looking in my eyes

Her voice is very weak.

a lot of the outfits were unflattering I thought. I was wondering if the contestants get much say in what they wear and why all the girls had puffy looking things to wear and Rachel's odd jacket etc...

She was singing along to a pre recorded version so wasn't really live as it were.The song was dire

seems to be a bit of tension between Simon and Cheryl atm but what could he have said? The show ws ok I thought, didn't like the song or the outfit and the voice wasn't out of this world- but he could hardly have said anything critical , could he? Like they all have to stand up and applaud any celebrity invited on to the show whether they do a good performance or not.

I don't mind the song but don't like it either. I just thought she was trying to do a cross between Kylie and Control-era Janet Jackson, but it didn't really work. Shame because I think she's given good clothes recently.

She is not sweet but her "outfit" was wrong on so many levels. I liked the dancing but the song was so-so. It looked like 4 different outfits that didn't go together.

whenever I see Cheryl (which is only ever on xfactor) she is hugging people, unless Simon has made her cry

Is it just me or does it look like she'd have to contend with a MAJOR wedgie in that outfit? It looks like there is a leotard/bodysuit underneath with the legs cut up above the hips. From experience (1980s swimwear), that leads to MAJOR wedgies, particularly in the vag area. Hardly comfortable to prance around in.
