Is anyone going to watch this on Monday night? Has anyone seen it already in the US? I can't work out if it looks good or crap.

Agree that has thrown me a bit, if they've had to mess with her womb, how can the lesbian who hasn't slept with a man since college be pregnant even before she had the operation!

meridian · 06/11/2009 11:44

loving the show though I'm not keen on Olivia (she is a bit annoying)... and a bit confused by the timeline for the one who got shot in the womb... seeing as its three weeks after the Flash forward and her bump looked rather sizeable in the flashforward... so does that mean they have changed her timeline?

because I cant see how she could heal from the surgery to immediatly get pregnant when she has no intention of being with a man... or having a baby in the first place...

ninedragons · 06/11/2009 11:53

Don't faff about on the Times if you have free time at work - about a week ago there was an article (can't tell you what it was about or I'll give it away) that had a spoiler. Not a little one, either; the writer casually announced the reason for the blackout.

Yet another reason to hate Rupert Murdoch.

LoveBeingAMummy · 06/11/2009 11:54

nine no can't believe that, so glad i didn't see it.

I love this programme.

Blondeshavemorefun · 06/11/2009 23:32

oh nine dragons

that would really have pissed me off

its all very well having spoliers but nice to be warned, so you just dont stumble acroos i when reading

i wont ask what or why

but

does it make sense?

ninedragons · 07/11/2009 00:28

I really don't want to say anything at all, because it wouldn't take much for someone to twig from even the most oblique hint and think ARGH! FCUKING NINEDRAGONS BITCH!

Blondeshavemorefun · 07/11/2009 14:47

trust me, i wouldnt twig

im blonde and this and fringe have REALLY hurt my brain

i didnt even get the sam thing in true blood

but yes dont reveal

Blondeshavemorefun · 08/11/2009 18:29

and hwat is the deal with the kangeroo?

RnB · 09/11/2009 09:43

I assume the kangaroo escaped from a zoo during the chaos of the blackout. Not sure though it may be significant.

RnB · 09/11/2009 12:23

Ooh I take that back. Just seen Olivia actress interviews and she said it's relevant somehow

Blondeshavemorefun · 09/11/2009 13:21

def means something but what

and sure even if they do explain - it still wont make any sense to me [grin

Anniek · 11/11/2009 17:12

Not happy now, as if the flash forwards can be changed, as evidenced by the not possible to be pregnant FBI lesbian, and daughter sitting in the living room and the suicide of the FBI agent who originally killed "celia" , then the "original" visions are just potential futures not anything to real believe

So the whole point of the show is now ?????

Rebeccaj · 11/11/2009 20:37

The Times article just mentions what the cause was in the book; I would imagine it'll be different in the TV series, otherwise there would be no suspense, we'd all just look at the book! So hopefully you haven't been spoiled!

Blondeshavemorefun · 12/11/2009 14:45
Blondeshavemorefun · 14/11/2009 12:11

right, so the black man (sorry cant rem name) decides to jump off and kill himself so that he wont kill the mother of his children and make them orphans/go into care

i did wonder if daughter was alive, just because she was lying on ground, with leg blown off but she could have been breathing

RnB · 14/11/2009 12:19

Basically yes,(although Caelia is not the mother of his children, she is a random woman). He is also proving to everyone that the 'future' can be altered and the the flashforwards aren't necessarily set in stone. So he is now not going to take part in Caelia's death, he won't be sitting in the meeting with MI6, the bird won't fly into the window, his attorney won't be calling him (presumably the attorneys FF is now wrong) etc etc.

V important for someone like Dimitri who thinks he's going to die, or Mark who is convinced he'll turn to drink again due to his wife's affair.

Blondeshavemorefun · 19/11/2009 19:03

anyone still watching?

Eowyn · 19/11/2009 20:29

I am but think they're stringing it all out toooo much.

Anniek · 20/11/2009 13:29

Same here still watching but losing interest fast. If anything else starts at 9 on Monday (fingers crossed for "V" on SciFi), I'll be switching.

monkeyfeathers · 20/11/2009 20:36

We're still watching it here. We spend most of the time wondering why it took so long for anyone to work out that they could change the future and also why Mark hasn't figured out that actively trying to reproduce the board he saw is likely to make his flashforward come true. Seriously, he could quit your job, burn down his house and move to the beach in Mexico with his family and then it will obviously never happen. It frustrates us.

Blondeshavemorefun · 21/11/2009 13:34

but then there would be no programme monkeyfeathers

notamumyetbutoneday · 25/11/2009 16:29

Is no-one watching this anymore? was really disappointed with this week's episode. Theyve completely moved away from the blackout/visions aspect which made it original viewing to instead focussing on the character's lovelives and problems.

Not sure whether we'll keep watching, what about everyone else?

StarPlayer · 25/11/2009 16:58

I'm still watching. I'm debating wether to get the book from my local library.

I will be watching the series until the end

MumofOscar · 25/11/2009 17:04

I'm still watching! Just about. Got absolutely no idea whats going though!! Confusing the hell outta me but i like it

Anniek · 25/11/2009 17:27

Read on line yesterday that they have put the show on hold??? Whatever that means
