Is anyone going to watch this on Monday night? Has anyone seen it already in the US? I can't work out if it looks good or crap.

I'll be watching it, I saw the trailer yesterday and thought it looked good.

southeastastra · 24/09/2009 14:21

me too

PuppyMonkey · 24/09/2009 14:23

It is supposed to be the new Lost, but until they have a Sawyer in it, I'm not convinced.

Lifeinagoldfishbowl · 24/09/2009 14:29

It looks great

southeastastra · 24/09/2009 14:34

blimey i hope it's not the new lost - i don't have the stamina for 8 seasons or whatever lost was

thighsmadeofcheddar · 24/09/2009 14:41

I know, I do enjoy Lost but will be glad when it ends next year. I have that awful feeling though it won't tie up properly and it will be a really obscure ending.

Well, shall set the sky plus for Monday then.

I'll be watching tonight - hopefully will be a good series to get my teeth into after being disappointed with Harpers Island

StripeyKnickersSpottySocks · 28/09/2009 17:28

I'm goingto watch it. Its meant to be the new Lost, so I'm quite excited.

sfxmum · 28/09/2009 17:31

watched the first one last night will watch a few more I think then decide, high concept stuff tends to fall flat if badly done but am hopeful

reminds me of the original idea for Odyssey % anyone remember that?

serenity · 28/09/2009 17:36

No idea about it being the new Lost, but it sounds quite good, and has a nice array of 'actors that I've seen before' in it

sfxmum · 28/09/2009 17:52

Odyssey 5 that was

btw are all British actors now working in American television?

TheFoosa · 28/09/2009 21:12

Is that Joseph Fiennes?

serenity · 28/09/2009 21:20

Yep.

I'm enjoying it so far. Anyone else?

MollieO · 28/09/2009 21:26

I'm watching it. Looks good but I have no staying power, there are 22 episodes and I already know I am going to miss at least 6 of them!

differentID · 28/09/2009 21:28

I'm watching. Looks promising so far.

TheFoosa · 28/09/2009 21:32

I think I've lost interest already, but Mr Fiennes is very watchable

girlwithapearl · 28/09/2009 21:33

I'm watching too. Not bad. Not hooked yet though, but will give it a chance

differentID · 28/09/2009 21:44

it has intrigued me. I want to read the novel it'sbased on now!

liath · 28/09/2009 22:12

22 episodes???

OMG, I'm going to have to start taking notes for future reference. Am definitely hooked already.

Sandy22 · 28/09/2009 23:05

I thought it started pretty well - I will be watching - want to know what the vision was that the little girl had.

Thought it was good, an interesting premise. Did remind me a lot of the first episode of Lost though when everyone was coming round from the plane crash.

The little girl apparently wasn't with her mum or her dad in her vision (as theirs didn't include her) so I wonder what she saw...

And who was the dude in the long coat at the baseball stadium!

serenity · 29/09/2009 07:48

It sounds like it only has a passing similarity to the novel though - from the wiki it says that they have a 21 year flash forward, it's a different lead character, and possibly a different reason (won't say what was going on at the time of the flash just in case it is connected)
