PMSL when Kim Ryder at the Alex gathering in n.London gave away the big surprise about the special guest... "Can't wait to see you performing with Beyonce later." Arf. Don't think she'll get any more presenting gigs...

Sad Alex won - there is something very fake about her indeed, she has a real sense of entitlement about it all, what she said about ticking all the boxes she wanted..hmmmm.

She can sing but watching Beyonce just brought it down to - do we need another wannabe of the real deal?

Still think it was really weird what happened to Laura this season.

Still loving Alex. I'm sure she was just full of nerves. I don't imagine the poor girl would have chosen that gold curtain ensemble for herself. In fact of ITV2 one of the "stylists" was going on about dressing her. I think she's a lovely girl and I'm sure that we'll see that soon, after all Leona got quite a slating for being cold etc and she seems to have turned out well. Plus everyone who worked with her (including the shlebs) said that Alex was lovely.

But then... I'm so happy Alex won.

I thought Alex was little more than embaressing. She strained and yelled - and then Beyonce walked out and sang her off the stage .
When is this fad for grimacing and screaming to try and express the emotional core of a song going to be over.

pagwatch, i agree, Beyonce was so effortless in comparison to Alex, ( note to Britney- she didn't mime!)

I'm not surprised they have upped the age again. I'm more surprised they believe another series is a good idea. I LOVE x-factor, but it is now a very tired format. Bet Dannii won't be in next year- after all she put Daniel through!!

She isn't even the best singer in her family.

I have never watched X factor but saw a clip of the winner today and me and the hubby were in stitches! Jeez, talk about drama queen! It was so over the top and embarressing. I had to turn the tv over as I was cringing so much. Peter Kay's spoof the other week was bang on if the clip I saw is anything to go by!!

I hope Dannii isn't in it next year for her sake
I found all the hugging, touching of arm's, grinnning at each other btw Simon and Cheryl embarassing really and felt a bit about the treatment of Dannii

Aside from being similar style of singing.
Leona is truly superb vocals. I'm not easily impressed but she is good. And nice. Not grating.

Alex prob deserved to win but I'm still in mourning for the song.
Next year they'll cover bohemian rhapsody or a pink floyd classic.

She is ridiculously full of herself for so early in her career ie - the start!

I said Alex was getting divaish further down the thread and was jumped on for it.

She is too full of herself. She will peak too soon and crash and burn is my prediction.

People went on and on about Leona being boring, having no personality and everything, why ?? Just because she didn't collapse on stage in tears after winning or her head didn't grow so big she couldn't fit on the stage.

Alex should take a few tips from Lenoa in that respect and pull her neck in before people get sick of her.

Leoona was gracious, humble and never once acted as if is was her right to win. She was a very dignified, mature contestant which is why the phone rang from the U.S......

Alex behaves like it was her god given right to win - her constant crying was so cringeworthy. Her voice is not as good as Leonas.' She is a shouter but she always stayed in tune which was why she got such high scores compared to the others. Her actual voice in very bland and not distinctive, it's just big.
