there is a definite lack of humour in this years show- SD and Rhyddian were fun to watch- as well as Rhyd having a great voice, and realy being able to perform. And the Louis /Sharon stuff was funny, Louis's vendetta against cheryl and Simon is just petty and painful to watch.
I agree that the styling of Laura was a big mistake- when Simon criticised her look last week, i think he was implying that at the auditions she looked edgier, had a gravelly voice and could really belt out the songs . By last night, she WAS a wine bar act- and the song did nothing for her voice.
But no-one said anything to Rachel- who picked her own frock, which frankly made her look ridiculous.
I don't want Alex to win. Yes, she can sing, and sounds like mariah- who Simon was way too gushing about. But we have a Mariah clone already, and i find her dull.
I like Diana, a lot, but i really can't see how she would have tackled that MC song successfully ,so can't help feeling a bit about it.
i'd like to see JLS given a chance to really show what they can do- but I can't stand Louis!
