I thought this started on 20th Sept. DH reckons he's seen a trailer saying it is tomorrow!

Does anyone know anything about this????

They are electric to watch. I think it must be hard to be that close to someone professionally and for it not to spill over into something more. It's a testament to their professionalism that they can still dance as intimately as they did before despite the relationship breakdown.

Flavia danced with Matt from Eastenders last year and dumped her live-in boyfriend Vincent for him. Vincent was v sad. (in a nutshell)

Thank you. Shame, I thought Vincent and Flavia were a really good match both physically and mentally- her poised and serene, him a bit wild and silly. Looks like will do well with Rachel (dancing wise I mean) this year which is something.

I like Karen. But can't bear Gary Rhodes.

Did anyone notice that Karen's not dancing with Brendan (when the Professionals dance together) this series. He's dancing with one of the newbies. I wonder why.....

I also like Claudia's hair. Hated that bloody fringe. Just wanted to get in there with my scissors and lop it off.

Not sure if this has been said already as I haven't read every post but Gary Rhodes is so cheesy - his clip about his thoughts on the show went something like "Now I've had a taste, I've got a hunger to win and really have an appetite for it now".

Nicole was complaining about the wages (amongst other things). She basically said that due to the amount of hours they were putting in, the dancers only got the minimum wage (£6 an hour). She said that if the dancers were prepared to put up with it, then it would continue. She also said that the reality of the show is nothing like it looks on TV , and the dancers never get access to Bruce & Tess the only time they get to speak with them is during the show. The BBC apparantly said she couldn't be matched with any celeb this year so thats why she was dropped, yeah, right

Tbh, I don't think she was one of the best dancers anyway .... and no prime time show would put up with anyone mouthing off like that.

Being brutally honest, I'm getting a bit bored with some of the partnerships.

Camilla with a dark-haired pretty boy & Brendan with a partner who thinks she's better than she really is. Both the same as last year.

I thought Nicole Cutler was mouthing off AFTER getting the sack presumably as feeling cheesed off. Can't really see what was wrong with her.

Karen really irritates and I don't like Lilia particularly TBH. Love Matthew Cutler and I like Ian waite.

I bet there is something in what Nicole said about the pay though. The BBC can be odd in its pay structure. I heard that the dancers are paid far less than the judges which I think is plain weird.

Sorry if this has already been covered earlier in the thread, but can anyone tell me which (other than Nicole C) of the female dancers has been replaced this year? Driving me mad - two new females but can't work out which one has gone!

And is anyone else really looking forward to seeing Gillian Taylforth in action? She was bloody terrible in the group number!

Well they've got an extra two celebs this year but isn't that other blonde girl missing who had erm wotsit last year. Can't remember her name, think she had someone off of casualty though.

Karen annoys the fecking life out of me, I liked her the first year she was in it but she has annoyed the life out of me every season since. And I think Erin has had something done to her jawline (re-sculpting), he chin is deffo less Jimmy Hill than it used to be.

I did think Claudia's hair looked much better in ITT last night, and she even started the show saying she had been to the hairdressers .

I'm going to stick my neck out and say I think that the votes were more to do with Flavia than Phil. Her uncermonious dumping of Vincent has made the public turn against her.

Or maybe it's just me. Yes, I know, I'm pathetic! I thought Claudia's hair looked awful, nice on ITT though. Have her and Tess gone on some mad starvation diet?

So glad to have come across this thread. Stayed up much later than I have should last night reading it all.
I think that the guys in general seem much better than the girls this year. It seemed as though the only ones with any rhythm were Heather and Rachel. Also can?t stand Gary Rhodes ? Karen must be very popular for them still to be in. Shame Phil went as he was really funny. I think I?m alone here in finding Mark Foster a bit full of himself ? funny how he turns the smile on awkwardly a la Gordon Brown when he sees the camera is on him. I thought Tom seemed quite sweet and I also liked Austin and of course the divine, funny John. I thought it was funny how Dom Littlewood ? really creepy little guy from last year who lasted much longer than he should with Lillia ? said he thought she and Don would be first to leave ? doesn?t look like they got on too well. Missed ITT last night ? thank heavens for Iplayer. I agree the fab Claudia?s hair looked much better last night. I also think Flavia?s hair looks really nice when it?s curly. Changed my mind a bit about Lisa Snowdon after seeing her on ITT.
