I thought this started on 20th Sept. DH reckons he's seen a trailer saying it is tomorrow!

Does anyone know anything about this????

can you watch it on iplayer for shoes ?- they were pretty fab

lalaa · 03/10/2008 14:45

I don't have much sympathy for Rhodes now. He spends so much time self-publicising, it's hardly surprising he's not very good. He's knackered (4.30am start FGS) and he's at book signings and radio interviews for most of the day.

Still love Karen. And feel really sorry for her - he's no Mark R, is he?

DownyEmerald · 03/10/2008 14:58

Increasingly feeling sorry for Karen and Ola, not only can their blokes not dance, they don't seem like great fun to spend time with!

Showmeheaven · 03/10/2008 16:25

I feel sorry for Gary, he seems nice enough, but his dancing is dire. His head is constantly down, his shoulders are rounded & he just looks like a total plonker when he dances. I dread his jive

I agree Karen & Ola don't look happy bunnies this year.

Tigerschick · 03/10/2008 16:59

Last night's ITT I'm about to watch and look out for the shoes!!

Tigerschick · 03/10/2008 17:39

Revised list of who's doing what ...

Austin - Waltz then Jive
Don - Cha cha then Tango
Andrew - Cha cha then Tango
Tom - Cha cha then Jive
Mark - Waltz then Tango
John - Waltz then Tango
Gary - Cha cha then Jive

So Andrew is doing the other style of dancing too ... I just don't understand why, to start with at least, they all do the opposite from last time ... twould make more sense. I can see why they don't later on in the serise as you might get everyone doing the same dance one week. That said, it did get a bit confusing last year when you had everyone doing different dances so you were having to compare a waltz and a tango and a jive and a rumba all in one night ...

AccidentalMum · 03/10/2008 19:53

The shoes were like this but closed toe and two bars....can't stop thinking about them....I haven't worn high heels for sooo long

MARGOsBeenPlayingWithMyNooNoo · 03/10/2008 20:59

Hey chatterboxes!

Louboutin shoes? I'm afaid I'm a lover of Clarks shoes. I fall over too often to go for a heel higher than 1cm.

Italian dancers....I worked with an Italian dancer who competed in Come Dancing, he took me home after work once and, erm, cooked me pizza. (Actually he was a tart, I'm just a very good girl. [prude emoticon])

I am sure I'm going to love Austin and Erin on Saturday. Tom is trying too hard.

mistersmum · 03/10/2008 21:27

I don't know if this has been said before but we were watching Annie the other day and the choreographer was no less than our v own Arlene Philips - I couldn't believe it!!

ZebsRoomofHerOwn · 04/10/2008 07:47

Ooh Accidental Mum. I'm drooling (not the granny type all over my cornflakes!

I actually have TWO pairs of Louboutins - long story, present from soon to be ex-DH. They're the most beautiful things on the planet and I daren't wear them outside as I don't want to ruin the soles. Oh, and they're too tight - men! So yes, I'm normlly in New Look instead

And Italians - I'm told [err, allegedly!] it's part of their national pride thing. They are conditioned that they have to behave like this to all women, or somehow it's failing. And the women (apparently) are supposed to be grateful and flirt back as opposed to slapping them and telling them to get lost. Even when their DH or DP is in the vicinity. Go figure. I blame their mothers!

Tigerschick · 04/10/2008 15:30

Does anyone know what the women are doing this week?
I'm guessing it'll be a group dance but does anyone know what?

Also - did you notice that the results show has been cut to 50 mins? Shouldn't be quite so much blatant padding any more.

AccidentalMum · 04/10/2008 16:44

Oooh, what were they rehearsing? There was a shot of Jodie and Vincent dancing hehe!

Getting very excited....on my own, so have to get both kids asleep by kick-off...easy

tribpot · 04/10/2008 16:57

Dear god, please arrange for Karen not to have an 'inspired' bongos choreography moment this week ...

Tigerschick · 04/10/2008 17:25

Dh has just phoned to say he's delayed at work so I'll have to go for the Chinese tonight ... they open at 6 and are a 20 minute drive away ... So I need to be there for when they open to allow for cooking time and the DD factor ... which means I need to leave in about ten minutes. Right.
Can't risk missing the beginning of the prog - want to see what abomination Tess is in this week

Raahh · 04/10/2008 18:57

Woo, Austin!

jenk1 · 04/10/2008 18:58

austin was great,i thought he was better than erin!!!

themoon66 · 04/10/2008 18:59

Tess looks nice in that dress

AccidentalMum · 04/10/2008 19:04

Got here for half way through Austin and Erin....what does syncopated mean? He is so so confident, love it much than Lisa/ Kelly/ Alesha false modesty...loving him revelling in his talent .

Thought Bruce was quite funny when asking Arlene if she wanted Austin to take off his top etc, make up for the feet thing not going anywhere.

LackaDAISYcal · 04/10/2008 19:07

just had to say I was gobsmacked at Austin Healey....bloody fabulous

Raahh · 04/10/2008 19:13

i think Karen wants to slap Gary...

jsgirl · 04/10/2008 19:15

I want to do lots of very rude things to Mark Foster.

Arlene's a bit vomit-y over Austin. Goodness knows what she'll be like when Tom comes on.

LackaDAISYcal · 04/10/2008 19:15

She's not the only one

Raahh · 04/10/2008 19:24

i LOATHE how Arlene has obviously thought up her 'witty' one liners in advance, and shoe-horns them in...

i love John- there are better dancers, but he seems so nice...

FiveGoMadInDorset · 04/10/2008 19:25

I also love John, he just has this lovely serene look on his face and I think just is really enjoying himeslf and the dancing, I also think he knows he is unlikely to win so the pressure is off and he is dancing well.

Raahh · 04/10/2008 19:31

Andrew is scary
