Apart from jls (who were tuneless) nobody remembered to pick out good upbeat MJ songs with a nice bit of jigging around. What's wrong with them all. pish.

I have to say, every time Eoghan appears on screen I'm reminded of the Eoin McLove character from this episode of Father Ted!

thought that really mean of simon, ruth IMHO was fantastic singing purple rain and girlband were wishywashyily boring.

Is it just me or was Cheryl kind of out of tune when she sang last night?

girls aloud sounded weak, quiet and tuneless, not quite sure why buy it must be embarassing for them to perform like that on a talent show for being able to sing live. They obviously can as they won once, but proves you can have off days whether down to the equipment or you.

The right people went last night IMO.
I honeslty thought though that the older guy (forget his name) would be in the bottom too.
I think he can sing but that song didn't do anything for him.

Best ones were Austin, Cheryl's girls and Ruth.
Why Ruth was in the bottom is beyond me. That woman can sing.

girls aloud always mime when doing live tv but i suppose because it was the x-factor with everyone else singing live they had no choice but to do it live as well.

cheryl was well out of key (was not impressed with kimberley either)

nadine always done that freaky moving with strange eyes shite.

you would think with all the make-up artists/stylists/hairdressers that they have access to that they would be able to do something to sort nicola out!!! it must be mental torture for her having to stand next to the other girls all the time.

oh and was it only me what thought cheryl was being a bit to "feisty" last night, then it all kind of made sense when we seen shagly cole in the audience. she must be really showing him who is the boss these days.

Well you can add me to the anti-Diana club - I can't bear her yelping and affected singing style - but I have a horrible feeling she's going to win. Over on the DigitalSpy forums, there seems to be more threads about Diana than anyone else, mostly in support. Personally, she irritates the hell out of me! (and yes, I agree she sounds like Cilla Black). I must admit, I love what Diana wears though.

I thought Ruth was great, no way she should have been in the bottom two. I think Simon has too much influence over the voting public - whatever he predicts, seems to always happen.

we have definitely divided into a 'love diana' 'hate diana' -bunch, which i like - makes it more interesting to have someone who polarises opinion, like Rhydd did.

I am beginning to dislike Laura- and she was my tip since the auditions. There are only so many 'songs in the style of amy winehouse' i think i will be able to stomach. Glad girlband went, but i still think it should have ben Daniel- surely he can't stay next week...but then, Scott is so dull (wonder if Simon is thinking he made a mistake putting him in over Mali?

And the pressure on JLS will be huge- they did great this week, esp since they were performing and singing. Will be interesting to see what next weeks theme is. i dream of the year they chuck in Heavy Metal week, just for a larf.

Anyone else tired of the term 'comfort zone' or is it me?

I took dd to see Girls Aloud in August. I wasn't looking forward to it I have to say but they were really good.
They sang a version on Robyn's "heartbeat" and that was excellent.

wasnt keen on her but I thought Ruth was fantastic in the sing off....

was shocked that the older fella was kept in again. I do think he has a lovely voice and is sweet but not an x factor winner......are people like my Mum lovin him?!!!
