I managed to close off the last thread without realising and couldn’t see a new one, so here you go!

No- at this rate there will be players heading for a 3rd round match, with 1st round matches only just ending!
The day/night thing really is stupid at this point- especially if no-one gets to watch anything.

Not going very well for Katie. Not that I would have expected her to beat Karolina but I hoped for a bit more of a match.

So- matches on Armstrong and Ashe have now finished until the night session.
They could easily put one of the interrupted matches on those courts. Even a men's match that's in the 3rd set- and could go to a 5th- would still be pretty much finished by the 7pm start.

but that assumes common sense.

They should put us in charge Raahh. We’d sort it out.

Well done Bu- Rafa was never in the match.

Rafa may be the highest ranked seed to be beaten by a lucky loser in a slam but I think Djok being beaten by Chickenato 2018 *at RG (even though Djok was seeded about 20 at the time) was a bigger shock.

How is Jacob’s match still going?

Daniil's post match interview made me laugh.

I've been half watching whilst doing other things- big comeback from Sinikova in her match against Osaka, is now level at 1 set all.

Osaka's team are being a bit annoying again- it was similar I remember during AO, making noise during Sorana Cirstea's match was one I remember- -during her serve. Naomi doing the faux 'I've no idea what she's upset about ' bit.

Yes, Lore was doing ok in the first set, the second is running away from him.

Flavio seemed to be moving a bit gingerly- not sure if he's inj8red, or just still recovering from his previous match.

Sweeny needs to re-think the colour of his shorts- they really show off his sweaty bum .

But it's goinghs way set , so maybe he doesn't care .

Lore does not look great.
