I’m biased because I do like Aryna but I find Elena’s coldness - well it leaves me cold. 😬 Buf I admire her tennis and I think her lack of emotion (whether deliberate or not) is very effective. I’ve seen before how she watches her opponent’s reaction. They are pretty much chalk and cheese.

They shouldn’t attempt an interview format for the trophy presentation, it never works. Just let them say what they want to say.

I didn't watch the end last night, but watched the last set this morning when it was repeated.

I agree the question format of the speeches is a waste of time- the players just ignore them, and say what they want anyway.

I'm glad Elena won, even if she leaves me cold. It wasn't the final I wanted. I didn't really feel invested in either player, in the same way I did at Wimbledon, for example- I really enjoyed the women' final this year thre- moreso than the men's.

I'm not really bothered by the men's final either- but I will watch it til I fall asleep .
I've a feeling Sascha will win. Maybe for him, slam titles are like buses?

The Asian swing is coming up - which is always a bit of an awkward one , timings wise , to watch.
And Laver Cup, obviously.
