Welcome to the EastEnders spoilers thread, where we post and talk about any EE spoilers we've read about, including those in early release episodes on iPlayer.

Link below to watch episodes on BBC iPlayer - these are usually dropped at 6am on broadcast days - and you can read brief synopses of upcoming episodes:

What baffled me was the guests apart from the slaters were all sitting waiting for what was presumably a sit down meal why was there a buffet anyway? Was it out for evening guests? Was too early? Also a place like that it wouldn’t be sausage rolls surely?

Shellingbynight · Yesterday 08:29

Apparently the cab scenes were to hark back to Zoe's entrance, because when she first arrived she crashed Charlie's taxi. They were absolute rubbish, so badly done. It's so obvious she was written out in a hurry.

Oh god are they going to do the driving into the square with concussion and her crashing? Elaine needs to move those peacocks

Anyonecanfallinlove · Yesterday 10:19

Well after today's episode i'm guessing we are going to have a few weeks/months of scheming Cindy

thisoldcity · Yesterday 13:45

The food fight scene with Mo and the twins yesterday was so horrible. Are we supposed to find it funny? I've a horrible feeling that's how the writers think 'lower class' people behave if they go somewhere posh.

Shellingbynight · Yesterday 14:39

Jack doing 20 seconds of CPR and Max magically reviving, then looking lovingly at Linda while Cindy loomed over him. The man has been drinking whisky for 36 hours solid, no wonder he collapsed. And then the ridiculously corny ‘I haven’t been listening to my heart’. I don’t know how Jake said that with a straight face.

I liked Elaine’s talk with Linda.

I know Cindy is a pain but it was very cruel of Max to marry and dump, I felt very sorry for her. And now she thinks she knows the full story but of course she only knows half of it.

The Zoe taxi plot - dire. So Alfie had to pay out £10k to the cab man (I don’t believe they have £10k available), then Zoe dies anyway, he wasted his money! This could explain why they lose the Vic (assuming they do).

It reminded me of that holiday ad people hate

“Elaine needs to move those peacocks” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Meredusoleil · Yesterday 19:13

At least Elaine tried to speak some sense to Linda. Can't believe how fast Max and Linda are moving all of a sudden!

Alucard55 · Yesterday 20:07

Not defending affairs but Priya was a single woman she didn't betray anyone and Ravi knows now so don't get why she's getting all worked up.

Linda asking do you think Max was going to tell Cindy he's made a mistake during the speech. If yes the sort of man to do that in a room full of people then he's not a good or decent man.

Definitely history between Nicola and Ned. He seems very gaslighty to me. The other sister is really getting on my nerves.

what on earth was that nonsense with Mo and the wedding cake? Who does that?

I know! She's a hideous character and I wish they'd killed her off years ago.

Southeastdweller · Yesterday 20:36

I've said many times that Mo is a waste of space and the actress is crap. No idea what Chris Clenshaw was thinking bringing her back, she adds nothing of value tp the show.

I think Mo is supposed to be a comic chancer with a heart of gold, old East End rough diamond type of character. She doesn’t really bring anything to the table though. Her acting skills are quite limited. I say this because I’ve met the actress in real life and used to see her a fair bit when I lived in Islington and her real life persona is exactly the same as Mo. She is literally not acting.

What I will say is that she looks amazing for someone in her 80s!

NowNumber5 · Yesterday 22:39

Mo is so crass.
She is supposed to be 90 years old!
(Laila Morse is 81)

And that is never Uncle Charlie's cab.
Honestly, do they think we were born yesterday 🙄

I agree. We must move in the same areas. She used to be fond of a bright orange tracksuit, possibly 2023

VivienneDelacroix · Yesterday 23:50

To be honest, I can't stand any of that branch of the Slater family. Kat, Alfie, Mo, Zoe - I hate to say it but even the twins. Tommy is the only one they shouldn't kill off.

I would keep Jean and Lily, then bring Stacey back with Sean, and get rid of the rest. I think Shane Ritchie and Jessie Wallace pretty much play themselves as well as Laila Morse.

Peekaboooooo · Today 00:36

Just a thought, there's obviously been some sort of previous 'accident' in the NYD episode, as there's a comment about Max saving Ethan and Jimmy, Penny's not there and Nicola has her leg in plaster. Could Ravi have supposedly died in this accident but comes back in this episode to get Max? Could Ravi and Cindy have joined forces for getting revenge?

storminabuttercup · Today 07:39

I don’t think LM IS an actress is she? Didn’t she get her first role by accident cos she’s Gary Oldmans sister? Then presumably EE jumped on the band waggon
Shes the kind of person (mo) who everyone will say ‘oh she’s just honest’ when actually she’s horrible, they’ve made her worse over the years which I suppose does happen with these people

i’m now thinking Linda IS the NYD bride, she looked sad as she’s realised Max will never change, she’s found out he’s still sleeping with Priya. Doesn’t confront him because Annie is so happy to have her dad in her life, on the morning Phil comes round and goes ‘you really gonna do this? Think of your recovery’ she realises he’s right, everyone is running round trying to get max to the wedding which he does, then it’s ’where is Linda’ cut to Linda in a taxi with the little kids and sausage heading off on a cruise dum, dum, dum, dum, dum etc

Chexton · Today 08:15

I often peruse this thread and have just watched today’s… I’d love to know your thoughts!

Cindy does a solo dance at the vic to skunk anansie and that wasn’t even the strangest bit of it!

Shellingbynight · Today 08:17

I haven't watched today's yet. Sounds... interesting!

@storminabuttercup I like your NYD storylining, it would be a good outcome. Lee and Nancy are back this autumn so I can't think where they fit in. If they were back for a NYD wedding they would not be back that soon, they'd just turn up for a week at xmas.

And Max is still married to Cinders. When she finds out he loves Linda she isn't going to agree to an annulment.

Southeastdweller · Today 08:24

I don’t think Michelle Collins is at her best when she’s given big stories such as this current thing with her and Max.

I didn’t feel moved in the slightest when Kat found Zoe’s body. The only thing I felt was irritation that a new story is brewing that may drag on for months (Max feeling guilty that he was the last person to see her alive, she complained to him she wasn’t feeling good and he ignored her).

OP posts:
Chexton · Today 09:31

Yes I didn’t feel anything but relief to be rid of Zoe. But the fall out is going to be annoyingly long.

Alucard55 · Today 11:26

@Chexton Cindy dancing to Skunk Anansie! I'll guess the song was "Weak".

Alucard55 · Today 11:26

@storminabuttercup I think you've cracked it.

murasaki · Today 11:53

My favourite bit was when Avani said 'but he looks like a boiled egg, mum doesn't like boiled eggs'.

Strange slo mo dancing at the end.
