Nope, I’m sure that Ned would have received an army pension or some kind of redundancy and Jodie has Noonan syndrome , so maybe entitled to some benefits too. Rose must be retired : pension ?
The claim didn’t go through , so they have lost the house. I assume they must have all lived together as well. Not sure why! They seem remarkably upbeat considering they have lost this place, but putting things in storage before starting the fire may have saved them ( even if it’s a really stupid thing to do of course :(
They won’t get a mortgage now either.

Yes Rose and Ned would both have a pension. And why are none of them working?
They don't seem very traumatised by all this, good to know they are starting in the true EastEnders tradition of arson and fraud, such a nice family😆

Nicola has been inside for using fake Botox, she was involved in a death of a pregnant woman and I remember her using torture on someone once ( but I may have made that up ? But she did something ?) She also made sure that Teddy took the rap for murdering Oakie ( Teddy did agree to it though ) and the mother blames her completely for her dad dying in a car crash drunk.
She also passed off Barney as Teddy’s for a long time and had affairs. No wonder they torched the house , seems tame in comparison! Why Ned agreed to that is a wonder.

Yes they are trying to make Nicola more sympathetic, but she has done some terrible things so I am not really on board for it. I think the actress is really good but her character is still quite unpleasant.

I am much more inclined to 'forgive' Suki for the things she has done because we met Nish and experienced his treatment of her, and she ended up with a very sympathetic backstory.

Agree that it is hard to like Nicola. I don’t mind the character as she is well played and can have a soft side to her, but the things she has already done are huge. Ned seems to be able to win her round , I bet she has slept with him in the past too!
She is more likable than her mum, but that isn’t hard.

A bit of a complex character and it’s bound to come out that her dad wasn’t her actual dad or something like that.

Nic’s family are really testing my patience!

Such thin characters and appalling acting from the two sisters.

Nicola has become a really strong character in my opinion, and she’s a good actress. Feel sorry for her stuck with this bunch!

Where are the annoying twins, btw? I must have missed them going away. Have they left for good?

Far too much of this new family. The sister laughing at her dog peeing in Kojo's room was not on. Ned is a creep, the other sister is too full on.

Ravi is a being an arse. He ended it with Priya she was technically a single woman.

I found it difficult to watch too, all very in your face over the top budget acting.
I got distracted on the last two episode and didn’t bother watching the second part of either.

I love Nicola. The rest of her add on family can disappear very quickly. The over acting is dreadful and another ridiculous storyline.

I thought Max's wedding would be stopped by Cindy finding out, rather than Ravi. I agree he is being an arse, but that is Ravi for you. And he doesn't even know yet that Priya is up the duff.

@BitLippie yes Oscar is leaving.😢 The twins are still there though. We saw Jasmine about a week ago.

I did like the scene at the beginning with Max Linda and Ollie. Nice that Ollie gets a mention.

The backstory of arson and fraud for the Hawkins isn't really helping me to take to them.

So Zoe and Tommy are back tomorrow. It sounds as if Zoe dies next Thursday, or possibly an episode or two after that. She isn't exactly getting a massive send off.

Poor Zoe ! All that angst and looking for my son and she might not even get ‘Julia’s theme ‘ for her send off.

Could Pryia be the bride and pregnant woman in bed? Basic plot would be Ravi makes an arse of it with kidnapping Max, the pregnancy comes out, Cindy finds out and ends things. Priya and Max do get on and seem better suited than he is with Cindy.

Max does seem better suited to Priya tbh ! She is feisty , but has more of a personality than Cindy and probably make a decent partner or wife for someone other than Ravi , who has messed her around more than once.
Left her with children , drug dealing , the business with Harry and dangling poor old Barney off a bridge ( amongst other things)

I love Max and Priya together (well, Max and anyone really) but Priya can't be the bride because the flash forward explicitly set it up as the bride = Cindy, Linda, Denise or Chelsea. If they dump that concept they may as well not have bothered with the whole thing!

No, Priya must be the lady in bed NYD.
I bet Cindy is getting revenge on him or something like that.

I think the calmer max would be a good match for Linda. The horny, daring max is a good match for Priya. I don’t think he could be loyal to either.

Cindy went from hating him to loving him, he obviously has something.

Is anyone else not really annoyed that it’s been weeks since Ian stabbed grey and it’s not been mentioned? They could have at least had Vicky and Chelsea talking about it while they did the wedding favours…

I was just thinking about that. Huge dramatic scene with Ian stabbing Gray, and then nothing. We don't know if Gray lived or died, or what happened with Ian. And none of his family seems to care!

Harvey was at the stag do, so he isn’t bothered about Ian is he ! I think the writers have just forgotten about him

Michelle Collins was on itv this morning chatting about Cindy’s upcoming nuptials! The clip showed her with E’laine and George and Pet ahh in her finery. I was wondering if anyone else ever got ready to be married with their ex there and his ex wife too ! I’m sure it may have happened to people , but it seems to be a more normal event on EE!
She said that they tend to film in bits and pieces , I often wondered if they did and seems it’s true. No wonder the continuity is sometimes a bit off.

Yes I think they go back and forth filming out of sequence. I did notice that Priya actress's bump looks bigger sometimes than others!

Yes, Michelle said today that it’s a bit all over the place , so makes me wonder if that makes it harder for rhem to learn lines and know what’s going on. We all struggle with that sometimes and most people on here watch every episode ! It’s not as bad as Corrie though , that jumps around a lot more I think.
Must just be how they film so many episodes

They film out of sequence on most dramas I think. I always thought it must be difficult to film a scene reacting to something which you haven't yet filmed! I suppose they must get used to it though.
