Suki would have to follow the legal process for eviction, although I'm not sure Jean even has a contract. I can't feel sorry for Jean though, she hasn't paid rent for months and doesn't seem bothered about it. Anyway, Kat and/or Sean will come to the rescue.

Sean's money is bound to be dodgy isn't it? He wasn't exactly Mr Clean.

I had forgotten that amongst many others he shagged Chelsea and Tanya, he was part of Max's 'buried alive' storyline. Plenty of people around to dislike him then.

Me too. I remember when Karen and the gang arrived, they lightened up the place with the mad carry on. Maybe Jean, Mo and Lily can live in Karen’s flat if it’s still free.
Linda will give them the b&b to manage.

Isn’t there new legislation for renters now which means LL’s cannot just evict tenants? I don’t know if it’s already in force and if non payment of rent changes things. But as mentioned, Jean probably doesn’t have a tenancy agreement and if one does exist it would have been with Stacey. I don’t feel sorry for her either. She has been so rude and dismissive to Suki despite owing her money and didn’t even offer a payment plan. Very entitled and seemed to think Eve’s status as her former DIL would allow her to sweet talk Suki into justing stay in the house rent free🙄

I agree that Jean is behaving badly , but I feel sorry for Lily and Charli. It’s not much of a life is it. Mum abroad , wearing a lot of her mums cast offs and potentially homeless soon. Hopefully they will be bailed out, but Jean has put her head in the sand :(

The Slaters only got that house because Stacey was shagging Kheerat at the time. Suki SO did not approve of Stacey ( trollop of the highest order with three kids by three blokes Ryan, Kush,Martin) gett8ng her grubby paws on her PFB.
But she had to keep him onside.

Years ago Grant&Phil wanted Bianca and Tiffany out of the purple and green flat ( who chose those colours? Were they colour blind or drunk ? It was like living in Barney the Dinosaur).
They wouldn't leave ,made sure one or the other was in . The Mitchells set them up to go on a date with two nice attentive fit blokes....a set up to get them out off the flat so they could empty it and change the keys etc.

I’d forgotten that too. But there was a wedding (in the nightclub I think, and Sharon was wearing a terrible black wedding dress) - Jack couldn’t go through with it.
It was pretty daft.

A black wedding dress lol?? It’s been one disaster after another for Sharon hasn’t it. She could write a cracking AIBU to feel upset about my weddings and marriages.

Lots of rumours tonight that Oscar is leaving next year, really hope that rumours are all that they are as he’s, in my opinion, been a fantastic addition to the show.

It’s been reported in The Sun like the other exits so unlikely to be a rumour. I had a feeling he wouldn’t stay for long but I’m still disappointed he’s quit as he is very talented and adds a lot to the show. Although he hasn’t been given much to do recently and looked bored out of his brain in the love triangle scenes. I wish Wadey hadn’t paired him with the dreaded twins.

Wow! That is a lot of actors all suddenly wanting to leave around the same time. I wonder if it's all for a similar reason 🤔

Oscar.❤ Who can blame him, the way the show is going.

I feared he wouldn't be around long because he's just too good really, and he isn't getting a lot of screentime lately.

Sounds as if there is a toxic culture on the set and people want out. Only going by what I’ve read online, but I suppose it goes through peaks and troughs with soaps and actors like to move on.

I think it’s more boredom than anything else. Linda, Ravi and Oscar are played by three very good actors but lately the stuff they’ve been given has been underwhelming.

From the media reports it sounds like Zoe actress fell out with the producer, hence not getting any screen time this year then a quick dull exit, whereas Linda actress seems in favour and they are bringing back Lee and Nancy so hopefully she gets a good exit. Johnny is leaving too so possibly they go together.

I hope Oscar leaves with Jasmine, and Josh goes back to his mum.

I can see why Linda is leaving, I'm not sure what else there is for her character, and she has been involved in most of the big storylines. I do feel they missed an opportunity to highlight school sen issues with Ollie.
Ravi could be bored, although he has been involved in big storylines. His character has just been ruined, there's no coming back for him.
If Oscar is leaving then that really is a shame, he worked so well with the Brannings, their dinners etc were great to watch, we needed something more lighthearted. He also works well with 'Brian" there's so much he could have done, i think Oscar is a bit of Priya, and could easily work with most characters. The twins situation was boring but that could easily be resolved by getting rid of his involvement with the twins. I'm sure most viewers would want to forget that storyline anyway.

On another note who was the guy working on Peter's stall this week? I didn't knowing he had many employees

Yes I agree. He is very versatile and works well with so many others.

And of course Priya actress will be leaving for her maternity leave, and we don't know if she'll return.😕

Oscar is too good for EE in its current iteration. He was completely wasted on the twins love triangle storyline and they have underused him. I can’t imagine how such a talent must have felt having to work alongside ‘actors’ like Jasmine and Josh. It’s an insult really.

I agree, he's great with Max and Lauren, Cindy and Ian. But having his main storyline alongside the twins was painful viewing.

Very good question!

I enjoyed today’s episode, but got distracted in the scenes with Ryder as he looks about thirty five and roughly the same age as Gemma. Jessie Wallace got a great line today about Hayley.

Is Ryder Gemma’s son south ?
