To be fair to Vinny , he didn’t know anything about Harry and even we were surprised as he had just started on a massive come down after the Oakie business and had enough going on! Still, it didn’t stop them and she had slept with him before as well ( the day he turned up no less!)
Gina and H are happy people , so we know it can’t last much longer. Lol
So many babies have a Rocky start with parents on the square. A new therapy clinic may be a good idea too as they all need it eventually.

I found the Penny thing quite triggering and yet realistic, as I too ignored the big leg for too long. And I could feel it getting more sore, which she may not have been able to do given the paralysis. Dp, like Vinny, kept telling me to call the gp (it was during covid) . When I was really in agony, I did, they hauled me straight in, and while I was there called the hospital to expect me and we went straight over. Like Penny, one had migrated to my lung, but I was in 3 days, so sending a disabled pregnant woman home after 1 night doesn't ring true, but I can see why she thought it would go away as that's exactly what I did.

Odd to watch your own stubbornness and stupidity played out on screen.

You never want to admit anything is wrong do you. It’s weird as most people are quick to tell other people to do things but rarely take advice themselves! It’s human nature to put it down to other things isn’t it.

Haha, you got me there, I'm totally do as I say re the doc and not as I do. An anti hypochondriac for myself, but not for others.

We all do it though ! Oh, it’s nothing , don’t want to make a fuss and so on ( or sit up a and e forever on a hard chair ) With the state of our hospitals, you csnt wonder at people’s reluctance to admit there’s a problem!

Well yes, the last thing i wanted to do during covid was go into hospital....luckily I got my own room (well repurposed cupboard, but I was glad).

Glad it was sorted out murasaki , sounds bad. Especially if it was over Covid times.

Oh yes, Clive the hot councillor . Suki and her massive handbag will ‘ pay him a little visit ‘ for some blackmail or something and get it passed retrospectively.

Someone mentioned about the 1979 flash back scene? Were there more of those? Was quite telling.

It really lacks credibility that the savvy mum of a teenage daughter, who would drummed the importance of safe sex into her, would have had unprotected sex with two men within the space a few hours but here we are. I do find these who’s the daddy stories a bit irresponsible for that reason. When they do have sexual health stories it’s usually focused on the younger characters and can be a bit ridiculous (Josh and the Twins potentially all having an STI🫤)

How many weeks ago did Priya shag Ravi? She's not daft if it's any less than that then it's Max's.

Where is the illegal extension? Is it the garage?

Oh I forgot about it. Someone as paranoid as Ravi will keep that under his hat until he has Priya back, knee deep.
Maybe he could raise another man’s child if he loves her enough but not without assaulting said man, as he’s leaving the show, most likely he’ll be heading to jail.

@Eastie77Returns absolutely. But where would soaps be without rolling out accidental pregnancies and who's the daddy storylines every year! It would be nice though if contraception got a mention.

@Alucard55 she shagged Ravi, and first shag with Max, at the end of May, 27th I think. So she would be about 3 months now, and 31 weeks on NYD.

@EmeraldShamrock000 Yes that photo is going to click right into Ravi's brain when she says she's pregnant.

Ravi isn't really the forgiving type is he. He's more the armed gunman type! I still think it's him sending the 'choose Lauren or Oscar' message on NYD.

I still see Clive as David. Was he in Holby or Casualty? He was sweet as David too.
Baby is definitely Max’s child, another step siblings for Lauren and Oscar and Annie, not forgetting Bradley and Abbey.
Jack isn’t much better, Pennie, Amy, Ricky, am I missing one or has Jack only 3 children.

It's a loft extension in the Slater house . Alfie done it . Doesn't have proper stairs, fire door, fire regs or planning permission. He just lobbed some planks down and said "There's your new room kids" ( IIRC it was when Haley was there so he was probably trying to keep in their good books before he was rumbled)
If that house was a real house in East London it would have a double storey extension incorporating the garage and a loft extension .Double the size
I think Nish muttered that as a plan .

You've got a good memory 70s, I don't remember that at all. The Hayley time was pretty dire maybe I wiped it from my mind!

Hayley had cherry. Kat was going to adopt her , but nothing. Alfie never mentions her. Not sure where they are.

DH was watching Rise of the Foot Soldier , the Actress who played Haley ( Katie Jarvis) was partnered with a long haired Teddy Jumpers. I don't think their paths crossed in EastEnders ( there were so many EastEnders actors I lost track what I was watching 🤣)
