Panic! the thread was ending.

It’s been roasting here today but starting to cloud over a bit now.

The weather has confused me, started off really muggy and overcast early in the morning- but it got so hot. Poor dd2 had 2 mock exams, and barely made it the end of the day. She gets dehydrated at the best of times, and hasn't been well recently, so the weather isn't helping.

Kyrgios has lost in Mallorca.

Oh well.

Curse of the WC, kazza, Venus lost earlier in Bad Homburg too.

I've lost count how many that is she's had now.

Although (braces self) - the player with the record number of wild cards is Andy Murray- and he really didn't capitalise on any of them in the latter part of hs career. (wouldn't have needed them otherwise!)

It isn’t Wimbledon ‘fortnight’ until next Monday, ie the two weeks of the tournament.
Qualies have always taken place prior to the ‘fortnight’ at Roehampton.
However, there is a plan to bring them on to the main site if the Wimbledon Park development is fully realised.

I think I did read that they got legally married a while ago, before the baby was born? I think they just decided to postpone the celebration.

Yes, that's what I read, they did the legal bit in December- because he was definitely asked about it, at AO.

But then recently, someone referred to Maria as his fiance, and he didn't correct them- which is confusinig . He must have cconsidered the big shindig was the 'real' thing.

I am just getting chance to watch today- just seen that Jasmine lost- I'm not sure her foot is fully recovered. I read yesterday she was a bit of queston mark still for Wimbledon.

Joe and Rajeev have won a match at Eastbourne- bet that was a relief!

Stef is playing in Mallorca- and annoyingly, Wispa is commentating. She still hasn't found the volume button for her mic, or she is sitting miles away from it.
In fact, it sounds like she's working from home.

I went to pick up DD2- and it looks like Stef's bad year is continuing.

Buse is now serving for the match. And I still can't bloody hear Wispa. I doubt she's sayng anything useful.
