Who's up for a watch thread of the new Yellowstone spin off in the Taylorverse starting this week?

Beth & Rip move to Texas to their own ranch and seem to find an adversary in Annette Benning as a nearby ranch owner.. also stars Ed Harris.

Finished The Madison last night (loved it, season 2 please, Taylor 🙏 ), then went in on Dutton Ranch. Bit of a slow starter for me, if I’m honest, but sure I’ll soon be hooked.

Why would RIP move the body though? So much risk of being seen, or leaving evidence that could convict him of murder later.
Glad he's got a new train station though, must be such a comfort to him. 😀

Yellowstone was one of the best shows I’ve watched. Quite keen to check out Landmen too. Can you get a temporary access to Paramount to binge?

I thought that, but tbh it's Rip's default response to anything isn't it. Protect Beth/Carter/the ranch/the cattle.

Don't all hate me... but I had to stop watching Yellowstone eventually. I just found all the characters (bar Rip) so annoying. But, I have started watching Dutton Ranch and enjoyed first two episodes. Although had same question on the body - why not just call the bloody police!?

Re Marshals, I'm actually quite enjoying it but... I see it as a separate type of show completely. Just happens to be in the same universe. Madison was also different but great.

Landman though is my favourite of the entire lot. And the second season was even better than the first. I can't wait for the third season. Does anyone know when it's coming out? I'm sure I read that they were recording season 2 and 3 back to back.

I watched the first two episodes, and enjoyed them - I hope it gets better with a bit more character depth. Marshals was OK, a bit disappointed given that Casey was one of my favourite Yellowstone characters. Yellowstone was Kevin Costner and it lost all credibility when he was written out, IMO.

Landman is breathtaking, one of the best TV shows I've watched in a very long time. Can't wait for the next season.

I guessed from the start that Ed Harris and Annette Bennington characters were married (although assuming now that they are actually separated/ divorced ). I also predict RIP will become the bunk house boss and get bellula ranch working properly.

I have lived through both 1967 and 2001 right inside the farming community, with pyres and buried cattle graves next to us fields. It was awful and this episode really covered it accurately.

I can’t see Beth letting that happen? Do we not think Beulah is behind the foot and mouth rogue bull? If you recall, she drove up the bidding for the bull at auction against Rip…

Beth Dutton has the best lines of any character, ever. I love her.

Brown cow was heartbreaking.

@Netaporter yes I agree, Beulah is definitely behind the F&M. Still sticking with my theory of Rip working at Beulah’s ranch (I forget the name) as otherwise why would the bunkhouse woes be mentioned so much 😬

The bunkhouse woes will be fixed by the reappearance of Will Bob the alkie, who will also whip Coopers butt. At that point, Rip will reappear the mine corpse.

Please can somebody list the whole set of Series based around Yellowstone, up to the current programmes?

I recall watching 1873, 1922 and Yellowstone, but had no idea that other spin off dramas had followed these.

I'd love to catch up on them all in chronological order, any help would be appreciated, thanks

I actually think that 10P was the intended target rather than the culprit.

Enjoyed landman but mother and daughter characters are just pointless and annoying.
