Simi was robbed. Side eye at Anisa,

Why would you even apply for this if you know you’re a ‘laid-back, chilled cook’ who likes taking their time?

Does anybody like plain food without loads of spices? Everything seems to have chilli, turmeric and cumin.

There was that chef in the professionals a few years ago who didn’t use any herbs or spices at all…

Surprised Ping was 2014, thought she was more recent.

TheDogsMother · 29/04/2026 21:44

My Norn Ireland granny used to make champ. A lovely pile of mash and spring onions with a well in the top for a good amount of butter.

fourquenelles · 29/04/2026 21:44

Was thinking there is a definite dearth of British and French cooking this time around.

PotterHead1985 · 29/04/2026 21:44

Ooh Annas gone bossy

Sunbird24 · 29/04/2026 21:45

Finished the Monster Munch too quickly, am now snackless and sad

Fransgran · 29/04/2026 21:45

Champ is my go-to comfort food. We call the spring onions scallions

littlbrowndog · 29/04/2026 21:46

Oh heck kinda looks like cat sick

Cookingdoesntgettougher · 29/04/2026 21:46

Ravioli looks raw

ilovesooty · 29/04/2026 21:46

I think Lenford might be going 😢

Yes you are absolutely right. Nana did call them scallions.

jay55 · 29/04/2026 21:47

Raw pasta is a new one on the raw list. I’ll miss Lenford:

Sunbird24 · 29/04/2026 21:47

Very orange egg yolk

Used to be called syboes in Scotland when I lived there.

littlbrowndog · 29/04/2026 21:48

What’s that leave she is using. Looks interesting

littlbrowndog · 29/04/2026 21:48

We’ve just said similar. I’m almost missing undercooked lamb three ways with fondant potatoes and minted peas. Or scallops with black pudding and a splodge of cauliflower purée.

Sunbird24 · 29/04/2026 21:49

Was it shiso?

And salt. Lots of salt.

That's a new one on me. Live and learn!

Halsall · 29/04/2026 21:49

Yet again the judges amaze us with their insight: 'we're going to want perfectly-cooked prawns'.

You don't say???
